You got to abuse the hell out of pull. I don't know how else to play her.

I still find tweaking two options and using one of the adepts to pull--> into melee really fun.
A mix between melee and standard adept build...its aggressive and fun...

I've probably burnt around 12 respecs on her. I think it's just singularity's recharge time does my nut in. Using Singularity as your go-to will have that effect. Pull is my most used power on her, and I break out Singularity only when it can prime 3 or more baddies, I come across an armored target or Pull is on cooldown. Indeed, pull with her is very good with all the debuffs, shockwave is good for multi-detonation and singularity is for groups/armour. I tend to be the player that looks for useable synergy on a frequent basis rather than 'saving a power for the right time'

Has access to the 39% power and combo damage bonus changed anyone's builds more toward damage? I.e. is anyone focusing on killing red bars with one combo?

With the veteran bonus and platinum, I've actually specced out of combo damage for the expose debuff. Honestly haven't noticed a big difference in my combo damage. That debuff is actually more valuable, especially in platinum where enemies tend to pile up. It benefits the entire teams dps. I also recommend area+anti-shield Pull and shockwave as a dump skill. Shockwave does its job at rank 1 and doesn't warrant the point investment. Pull is underrated, keeps me upright and spamming powers non-stop. Keeps singularity off CD and procs biotic expert/warrior. Space dogs never stood a chance.

If your weapon and a level 1 pull/ranked shockwave can't kill them fast you got bigger problems.

Knock their shields down a bit with the equalizer, then use pull to finish them and they're helpless on the floor. Can then detonate and finish them or just shoot. Same with observers. They recover quickly, but they stop shooting long enough to reposition or finish them. It's the same for any shielded enemy. The space dog packs are the best. It's real value is not wasting a cool down cycle on singularity unless you really need it. You may think it's useless, but I switched from 6 ranks of shockwave and never looked back.

I find shockwave does a little pop to armor if specced that way. You could also go lifting shockwave for redbars as it just just hits harder when you are seeing off combos in singularity. If you are worried about killing dogs and destined on platinum [x].

There are so many configurations of + power or combo damage vs. other bonuses (recharge speed, expose) that I'm not sure how to best optimize my build. I also play on gold, so Pull is still worth having.

I will probably spec my asian sensation for more debuff and platinum runs and do ponytail for direct damage and combos on gold. I'll probably get rid of points in shockwave and put them into health bc squishy. I'm still playing with it.
With the damage boost to singularity's rank 6 detonation, I still don't think it's worth it. The radius expansion mates the thing freaking huge, and using that to debuff a 20+ meter wide space or whatever it really is has to be better than the 700 damage for the detonation. It's definitely not worth it in <=gold, since even before the veteran bonuses, as long as 2 mooks were picked up, shockwave and the biotic explosions killed them both, and now after the bonuses, you only need one mook at a time. Might as well get the thing to prime 6 enemies at a time and then detonate the whole thing.

I haven't played the pwnytail or asian invasion in plat very much recently, but i'm probably going to try to go 6 pull and 6 singularity (throwing away shockwave because i play with a friend who plays batscrapper) and go for full on recharge speed. once it comes out, i'll equip structural ergonomics (25%), power efficiency IV (60%) and on top of the power efficiency evo in offensive biotics, i should be able to get singularity down to <10 sec recharge.
