Has Bioware Montreal been shut down? Thoughts?

Those DLCs plan were announced before the game was released. And considering they were cut from the game, like all the other story elements for a sequel, it was already there, still got canned. Which is what might happen here again. What? When did I say BioWare was going to be done for? What? Just... what? Can't take the pressure then goodbye.

Don't worry. I have dealt with your type of people before. I guess I was also one before, I just learned to be more impartial and accept some stuff. You will someday too.

I like how Suikoden left this dumpster fire for everyone just hoping for this...moths to a flame.

Eh. Dropping bait and running is old hat. If OP were serious about it he would have looked in the Montreal office for the developer that has a game release later in the year. They're the ones doing the hiring right now, and since their open job queue isn't as long as I would have thought I suspect BioWare is, indeed, providing support to Motive for SWBF2.

As for the author, you're right. He's stirring up controversy to sell his own product. It's why I ignore his shenanigans.

Sticking your head in the sand and ignoring all the negative criticism of Andromeda won't help though. 

Whether you like the game or not it has some glaring issues, some which could've been solved with a few more months of development and some that can never be solved.

I doubt Bioware Montreal is shut down, but i don't think a sequel is in production as of right now, and that is telling enough. 

This topic is not about negative criticism.
It's about is ME:A dead in the water and Bioware Montreal studio no longer existing.
Right now, there is no evidence to back up those claims.

Unfortunately, I agree.  It just keeps getting worse and worse.  Why can't they focus on providing us with articles that actually give us some useful information about the games and updating that information?  I keep looking for stuff and running into huge amounts of misinformation on basic gameplay or obsolete information (due to later bug fixes)... All in articles and videos made by so-called professional reporters on the games) and they never bother to link to a correction (if they ever even bother to make a correction).  As a result, they contribute to the problem as people try to do things the way they recommended to do them during the early days the game was out and just wind up getting screwed over by their advice.  Rather than putting so much energy in spreading rumors... why don't they buckle down and give the public something useful about playing the games themselves or at least correct what they must know by now they got wrong in their original videos that tried giving advice on how to play the game before they even really knew how to play the game themselves.

I was agreeing with you.  I just indicating the people proclaiming BioWare dead would have used that paragraph he talked about his book as a perfectly good reason to ignore him, but it isn't a good reason for us to take issue with what is being said.
