Excuse me, are you working for BioWare ? The only thing you are doing is denying anything, every single information or rumour against them.
Oh come on, rumours?! Rumours?! You're trusting unfounded rumours?! This is why nobody should take you seriously.

The hypocrisy on this board is amazing. All I've been hearing since ME:A was released is how the game was never given a fair shake, how fans mad about other things went out of their way to attack the game, and it wasn't judged on its merits. NOW, some of these same people are talking about doing the exact same thing to Anthem because they're mad that resources were taken away from ME:A to focus on it.
Just amazing.

Yeah I will not support that game at all. I wouldn't have supported it anyway. Anthem just doesn't interest me. That's not a judgment on quality, only on genre. But to say Anthem took out MEA is a little bit of hyperbole. MEA was a huge investment for the companies involved. If it had met their business goals, they would have continued supporting it all guns blazing. I can't verify how reliable that statement by a third party really is. They're obviously a company Bioware outsourced certain tasks to. But if true, which, going by all indications so far, I tend to believe, it's got nothing to do with Anthem and everything with MEAs reception. It also seems logical to still provide APEX missions. That's where easy money can be made. Yeah I wasn't giong to get it either but if what half of what's been said is true the moer I'd want to see Anthem fail tbh. Especially if it proves the point never put all your eggs in one basket.

Ok, whatever. But let's assume they don't say anything. At all. Is there a time limit when you'd say "Yep, nothing is coming"? A year? Two? 3 months. If Bioware nor EA say anything about this or don't release any Story SP DLC, then these rumours ME:A is shelved are true. Why 3 months? Because it goes way beyond Bioware's DLC release schedule. If they make no announcement within next 3 months, then SP DLC's line up is truly canned. Only hope there could be by that point is Bioware developing a major expansion instead of typical DLC's, but then we'd be truly grasping for straws if Bioware makes no announcement way ahead of time. With grasping straws, I give until 1 year anniversary of ME:A release. If no announcement by that point, then ME franchise is put on ice indefinitely.

BW/EA could just say they're working on DLC and make all the rumors and articles invalid. But they prefer to keep Schrödinger DLC as long as they can to keep interest in MEAMP for the microtransactions, and of course not to make ME fans mad about gutting BW Montréal/MEA for the sake of Anthem/SWBF2/SW2018.

www.imdb.com/company/co0623436/They're listed as working on Andromeda as well as dozens of other games. He's clearly lying in an attempt to shove all this under the rug. Either that or the management chain at Bioware is in complete chaos where nobody knows what's going on. No. He is not 'clearly lying'. People should be judged on their actions. BioWare employees are limited in what they can say, but in all dealings with this forum, Tiberius has been helpful and honest. If Ian says he doesn't know them, that will be taken on this forum as a true statement, irrespective of any corporate links, without hard evidence to the contrary. We are not going to be calling other forum members liars. What? Sinclair Networks was referenced in previous articles going all the way back to the facial animation fiasco. Him saying he doesn't know of them isn't credible. He was probably banking on the public not knowing the connection, but he was wrong. Also, your attempt to dictate people's opinions is really distasteful. Brown-nosing the devs and leveraging your mod status at the expense of your user base isn't a good strategy. Ian hasn't posted here in quite a while.

Yeah I don't see it either it's almost as if they've disappeared Sinclair is an Austrian company, based in Vienna. In a previous link someone provided their portfolio. They did a lot of work for AAA titles in the last decade. Such as the complete FO series and Assassin's Creed among others. As far as MEA is concerned, they were involved in post production and other tasks. The facebook post was removed. That's what some magazines report, while they're still showing the screenshot. Obviously someone in the company went on a rant and someone else made clear that this kind of news wasn't a wise business decision and took it down. Might also be that some clients of theirs have voiced their concern over them spilling the beans on a meeting they supposedly had.

That game is drastically different from Destiny. Although I also remember people calling Destiny, a Warframe clone many years ago. I just think people are silly with this.

They probably broke their Non Disclosure Agreement putting that out, and someone from EA/Bioware may have said take it down or else. Or someone from their own legal department. Could be one of the reasons. Another one might be pressure from all their clients. And they are the biggest players in the game industry. Bethesda, Ubisoft, EA/Bioware, to name only a few of them. If this was an unsolicited statement, they can be in legal troubles on the side. The poster, who isn't named, but obviously uses their official FB account, also spoke about their boss having argued for story DLCs, but couldn't get through with what they call Bioware "bigwigs". So, there's obviously someone higher up than the one making the original post.

So Anthem did take out Mass Effect after all. Damnit, Anthem, I just do not like you very much right now. If it turns out to be true (this whole thing turned out to be pretty bizarre, so I have my doubts!) then Anthem had nothing to do with it, Bioware did for it's mismanagement of the MEA development cycle. Then EA for pushing out a game that clearly wasn't ready to see the light of day, which surprise surprise rightly got slaughtered for being a mess. They actually thought the public would just be happy to see a new ME game and suck it all up regardless, that's how dumb & for granted they think we are. Then in another surprise, the game wasn't rated very highly and sales weren't as they had hoped, which is our fault apparently, for not wanting to buy their dross they called a full, fit for public release game. Worth keeping in mind when you next see DLC (if it comes) or one of their games available to order.

Time will tell about the truth of it, but right now we are not disparaging each other here. 'Probably' is not sufficient. And please get your facts straight before making assertions about what other members are doing. Ian last posted a couple of days ago.

Ok, whatever. But let's assume they don't say anything. At all. Is there a time limit when you'd say "Yep, nothing is coming"? A year? Two?
I don't think solid time limits work in this industry. Age of Empires II received a DLC 17 years or so after its release, so never say never! ;p OT: Although I'm personally not interested in any further DLC because I'm not immersed in the story at all I feel bad for the people here who waited all this time only to be extremely dissapointed by this news. Even though this is, of course, still not an 'official' source I get the feeling that it's, for the time being, over for Mass Effect Andromeda. I sincerely hope for you guys that Bioware/EA will change this stance in the near future, but I won't really hold my breath.

Then EA for pushing out a game that clearly wasn't ready to see the light of day, which surprise surprise rightly got slaughtered for being a mess. That's largely down to a failed PR stunt. A stunt aimed at pushing Origin Access. They released the first ten hours of buggy and unpatched game to the general public, while serious reviewers didn't get their copies. That resulted in a well deserved shitstorm on youtube before the game even was released, complete with the first patch. Well deserved, because it show how a cheap publicity stunt to push another product can backfire.
