It's a shame that they haven't found a way of releasing new content to MP and giving it to SP in some way as well. For example, if this Batarian is a specific character rather than a new race to use, then giving him an introduction in a little SP side quest would go a long way to getting both SP and MP players excited for such announcements.

Hopefully the inevitable ME5 will see them designing the MP and SP release schedules to match up that way, so that everyone gets excited when any new content is announced.

That would be my guess as well. That is my favorite planet in Andromeda. Old school.

Damn, and here I thought that we were rid of them forever. Between scavengers, burocrats, exiles, ketts and roekaars I think there are already enough a**holes in ME:A to deal with. There's no need to add them to the list.

Still I am happy to see that they are adding new content to the game. It could be a sign that something else is on the way...

Based on previous content releases I think we may get the batarian update tomorrow, meaning we'll also get this famed lore explanation. If it's just a briefing (or worse, a blog post) going "oh he was a stowaway on the Nexus and they just unfroze him" I'm going to be supremely disappointed.

They could've snuck into one of the Arks and jumped ship early like Peebee. If they were only a few, it could work.

Huh... That would be interesting. My initial thought was some problem with SAM and the Quarian Pathfinder (since, y'know, AI), but this couldn't have that much of an effect as Batarian part on this (Hopefully) upcoming DLC, so maybe SAM and the Pathfinder can be a secondary quest or so.

On topic: I really am curious to know how that Batarian got in Andromeda. I mean, who would contact those guys or let them aboard a top-secret thing like the AI?

I gotto say it feels way weird that APEX teams will get a Batarian now when they're not even there in the story yet. As for Platinum, I don't even play on Gold so that's way beyond me

Yeah, I'm not much of an MP player myself. I did some runs early on but was more interesting in SP. I had read some complaints that MP was deadish but had no idea if that was true. We should hope that it does well in terms of bringing in some money for them because that makes the whole game more profitable, which means higher chance of MEA2. So any update that gets more people into MP increases that. I wanted SP DLC, but this helps too.
