Is there a bonus for killing enemy or is the score based only on damage done?
I'm asking because I'm not sure whether it's a good idea to start shooting at enemy that is already shot at. I do it normally, because many players do it. It's a coop game after all. But maybe it's considered unfair or something?

This page from ME3Tweaks offers a brilliant breakdown of packs and their related pool chances: me3tweaks.com/store_catalog/packsUtilize the menu on right of screen to navigate. My two cents after doing a space magic manifest spending spree not too long ago... I would suggest buying packs in a manner that is suitable per your level of difficulty. If you're still in Bronze, go with Recruit Packs. But once you move into Silver, starting buying Veteran Packs...regardless if you've maxed your Common level gear or not. Same with Gold matches and Spectre packs. You'll want some consumables fitting the difficulty (in Silver matches, you'll benefit from level II gear/amps...same with level III for Gold). Items tend to 'trickle up' -- Vet Packs will still see Common upgrades; Spectre Packs will still see Uncommon & Common upgrades.

Question : Do I win the game by topping the scoreboard? Not just this game, but at life. It's the only thing that keeps me going. Epeen and Pineapple Express. That's two things, but you get me. I know you do

Is there a bonus for killing enemy or is the score based only on damage done? Yes, there is bonus for the kill. My 2cc is that if you can kill anything I targeted, that means you are not lying on your back waiting for me to rez you and I already like you! But here is 21 pages of opinion on BSN prime, enjoy: One hint though: don't kill a mook about to be grabbed by someone else.

When you are building knowledge and lol "skill" as a new player, consider trolling your enemy.
°°° TL;dr - Crabs are size queens, get gud, Phantoms hate Scorpion.
°°°
Preset enemy to Geth, choose a kit and weapon combination that abuses them. Kits that famously abuse the Geth are the Vanilla Human Engineer, Fat Turian Sentinel and Infiltrator, the Salarian Engineer, the N7 Demolisher Engineer, the Krogan Family von They're Dead, the Geth Family von Bleep Boop, and most of all, the N7 Paladin/Salarian Infiltrator. Quick stagger weapons are great choices for priming and returning the stagger troll - Falcon, Venom, Scorpion, Adas. Bring another gun, your favorite SMG with HVB, for Boss DPS. Use Disruptor Ammo, it again trolls the Geth. Cryo is also a solid choice.
°°°
Reapers: they hate fire. Burn the fuckers, all of them. Incendiary Ammo (or Warp if you have a Boom Squad) with any strong weapon. For early manifests, again the Vanilla Human Engineer is a great choice, this time using any gun you have that is good for you. Asari Commando Adept and Vanilla Human Sentinel are also fantastic, as is the Vanilla Human Adept. Warp/Throw and Warp/Shockwave abuse armor. So do Fire Explosions and Incendiary glitching. Abuse everything.
°°°
Cerberus - bring a Scorpion. If you don't have one, bring a Falcon or Venom. And something that can shoot through a shield. To abuse them, have a Saboteur of some sort. I prefer the Quarian Female Infiltrator, with Claymore HVB. Use Disruptor / Phasic Ammo, depending on squad make-up. Kits with Pull/Lash are extremely fun and good against this faction as well. I find Phasic Falcon a great way to Pull all the things, and then usually Reave them into Embracing Eternity. That is because Asari are peachy.
°°°
Collectors - well, you have to get gud sometime. Set that enemy to Crabbypants and bring all yer DPS. Aim for the damned head or it will be a long day.
GI. SI. DAI. QMI. Asari Infiltrator. Turian Soldier. Vanilla Human Soldier. N7 Destroyer. Turian Sentinel. Vanilla Human Adept (the Acolyte Hurricane combo is just lovely (if a bit easy mode) as well.
Accurate hard hitting weapons. Any good sniper rifle you are comfortable with. Any good shotgun you have, or assault rifle. Pistols, SMGs, etc. Just make sure you have some penetration, Crabs are size queens and like it deeeeep.
HVB/Shredder/AP mods (can be used in conjunction!) with appropriate ammo, like Phasic or Disruptor for SRs/Sniper Pistols, Warp or Incendiary for rapid fire weapons.
°°°
You will always fare better with a team that is coordinated in skill sets, just because as a newer player you will have to deal less with priming issues from say a tech teammate when you are playing a biotic. Once you understand the game better, you won't care much about that, but it does help early on to play squads that are mostly actually "teams". Asari Boom Squads are great fun, as are any all Biotic team. Same goes for all Tech + Infiltrator.
°°°
These are quick notes, totally a bad TL:dr candidate and I do feel bad, and are not in any way meant as a guide for advanced players.
TL;dr - Crabs are size queens, get gud, Phantoms hate Scorpion.

I pretty sure this is obvious to almost all players here, but you but I think this is usefull knowledge: in N7HQ you can see all your gear, weapons, classes in one glance. There you can see what stuff you have and what is still locked. Also you can see in what level your stuff is or if it's already maxed out. So go here and find your account. N7HQDo I log into it with my Origin password? I tried, and it told me there are no profiles?

Not sure what to do after, I sort of tried to pick a character, but they all were level 1, not my own avatar?

You already are in the system: n7hq.masseffect.com/home/overview/?name=domi&platform=pcAlso level 1 is normal for when you start.

What would be the best starting warzone to pick for level 1 & is there prime-time when people normally queue?

Also, put your info in LFG - looking for group thread, send friend requests to other players, for me instance, if you want to play (read: die and fail horribly) with me or other BSNers.

Domi, if you only played the single player game a bit, my first advice is to play it a bit more before MP. It is much tougher to learn the basics in MP than in SP. But, if you want to start with MP right away, then perhaps: What is ME3 MP?Then you can check one of the starter guides out there, random pick: Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer New Player Guideand play with friends and/or check the LFG thread. If you want to learn even more in depth, check Bwnci's buildsOf course, ask here too. enjoy

Protip: want your devices mission to go faster, help the person on the device by doing it too. Also spin around while you're doing it, bonus credits. No no. You must stand over them with their face in your crotch and move back and forth real quick. Works best with Krogan Adept, so you can hit barrier near completion and it looks like you've come in their face. I find this helps with devices
