Huh. My first Warden was a City elf, so he died at the very start. My second Warden wanted to be Queen from the moment she found out that Alistair was heir. So, sparing Vaughn got me more support at the Landsmeet, and I didn't even consider killing him. But she wasn't prone to murder knifing. I guess if one doesn't need support in the Landsmeet, he could die. But what are the justifications for those who aren't city elves? "I heard a rumor that you're a dick, so die now."? You can meet the City elf's cousin earlier in the dungeon and if you pick the right dialogue option he will tell you what Vaughn did to his cousin. Also, just talking to hims shows he is racist towards elves. I know this is a video game, but killing someone for just being racist makes the killer look worse.

I confess that I like ........ TALLIS!! 'Don't care what no one says. I'd take her over half the DA2 cast, tbh (over Anders, Terribl, Fenris, and SeaBass). At first I was like, who is seabass... Is that your nick name for Isabella?!Sebastian! (That's my nickname for every person named Sebastian, tbh).

His content seems surprisingly...well, I guess it's not surprising. His stuff seemed a bit disconnected from the rest of the story, but then, you can enjoy the game without him at all, so he couldn't have too much important content in him, could he? I like Seabass as a name for him.

Feels more raw for a city elf warden, another noble dickbag throwing his weight around. Can't really fault people who choose to knife that sadistic rapist, he is truly a POS. Possible reprisal on the Alienage is the only deterrent to that situation imo but I don't think Bioware enforce this outcome. So stab away.

I was madly in love with Alistair on my first Origins pt. (I'm probably not the only one) I f*ed up my first Origins pt, Alistair broke up with my Cousland because I did not have high enough coercion, and I hadn't hardened him either. I knew I could become queen, so I just couldn't leave it like that. So I started my character all over again... I was seriously distraught at the time. I really love Leliana's voice. I disliked Morrigan at first. Much later I realised I have a lot in common with her.

Confession:
Every time I finish a DA game, I think that was the best one. Finished DAI and was like, "Man. That was a good game. That's the best of the 3." But then I said the same thing after DA2, and now I'm enjoying Origins all over again.

I was a passionate hater of DAI for a time but now I'm eating my words because I'm replaying it and enjoying it a lot. Some things still bug me though.
Varric is really dull in DAI.
I love Cassandra's voice.
I wish Dorian was a straight female romance option. Cullen is good looking but I prefer sassy characters. He's too much of a prince charming to me.

I never do a romance on my first playthrough of any bioware game. To this day there has been only one exception. Damn you, Alistair.

I never do a romance on my first playthrough of any bioware game. To this day there has been only one exception. Damn you, Alistair. See, I want to make this my rule going forward, but then I remember how betrayed I was by Anders and Blackwall. How impactful on my mind it was that my lover had betrayed me, not just a friend. I wish I had taken people's advice about doing a Solasmance first, that would have been epic Tragedy. (Although I never found him attractive, so maybe I would have tried and rejected it.) Now the surprise is good and ruined, although I'll head cannon hard enough to make sure I cry when I finally do that romance. I'm super looking forward to the next installment of "I don't know what's going on" come DA4. With not a single Wiki to reference, every decision will be weighed heavily for sure! But am amused that Alistair sniped your heart. High five.

Confession: I justified buying a whole new computer system just to play Dragon Age Games with mods back in March- then haven't used a single mod. But DAI is quite pretty on max settings,gotta say. Was helping MIL on my old computer, and DAI was looking pretty dull. Still. Some day I'll mod. I'm just put off by the complexity of use and also that some mods prevent you from doing the DLCs.

Okay hold on to your butts it's CONFESSION TIMEDAO:- I had to play a male Warden so I wouldn't romance Alistair in my second playthrough. Damn him and his adorkableness!
- My favorite origin is Cousland, and my favorite ending is where my F!Cousland and hardened!Alistair rule Ferelden together, because I am a sucker for storybook romances
also it's hilarious how much people get mad about it.
DAII:
- I don't get why everyone loves DAII!Anders so much; I greatly prefer Awakening!Anders. I romanced Fenris and when Anders started whining about a "mad dog" that soured me on him a lot. That said, I won't ever kill him because I don't want to make him a martyr to his cause. His punishment is to live and fix the mess he made. (Yes, I do support the mages and agree with his points, I'm not looking for an argument just sharing my views )
- I will always choose Bethany over Carver. Carver is a tit.
DAI:
- I was SO EXCITED when Blackwall was announced as a romance option~ Big, burly, beardy men are 1000% my type IRL I romanced him first... and it was actually a letdown. The whole thing felt like my Trevelyan was just reassuring him the entire time that yes, he is good enough for her, she really does love him, and so on. I want a relationship of equals dammit!
- My slight disappointment in Blackwall's romance and the fact that tumblr was going absolutely insane over Solas led me to play a f!Lavellan to see what all the fuss was about... I'm in Solavellan hell, you guys. Stupid sexy suave bald nerd. ;3;
- The Hinterlands is one of my favorite areas! It's so picturesque I have like a million scenery screencaps from there.
- I'm mad that Briala was whitewashed but I usually don't say anything about it because I'm white and don't want to seem like I'm co-opting anyone's opinion. I wish there was a mod to fix her skintone (and Fiona's, I'm pretty sure Fiona is a POC as well).
Mass Effect 1:- I LOVE THE MAKO I love its shitty handling I love Goomba Stomping enemies I love cartwheeling down mountains I love it all <333
- I play an Infiltrator but I almost never use my sniper rifle in ME1 (my husband makes fun of me all the time for it). I only use it when I'm planet-side and I can snipe enemies from on top of a mountain.
- I haven't played a DudeShep yet because I can't bear the thought of sacrificing Kaidan (in my head I need to so I can have a playthrough where Ash survives). ;3; I do want to eventually roll a DudeShep though.
- I don't care about Liara. She's useful for Science but I almost never take her anywhere.
Mass Effect 2:
- I really want to romance Garrus but whenever I play FemShep I fall right into Kaidan's big brown eyes and I can't bear the thought of cheating on him ;3;
- Still don't care about Liara, was kind of relieved that she didn't join me.
Mass Effect 3:
- Leviathan and Citadel are tied as my favorite DLCs for anything ever; Citadel I just thought was ridiculous fun, and Leviathan hits my obsession with eldritch horror.
- Still don't care about Liara, and am actually kind of annoyed at how it feels like Bioware pushes her as the "canon" romance.
- I love Blasto and I really want Blasto movies. ALL THE MOVIES. GIVE ME MORE BUBIN.
- I'm sad hanar can't wear sweaters.
- GRUNT IS MY SONNN
General:
- I am a completionist almost to a fault. I do all the fetch quests and all the things even if I don't actually want to do them because I hate leaving things unfinished.
- I am incapable of playing an evil character, I can't stand the thought of anybody being made at me. ;3;
- WHY DOES BIOWARE SUCK SO HARD AT GOOD HAIR OPTIONS I swear to god if it weren't for mods most of my characters would look so boring. THIS IS NOT HARD YOU GUYS IF UNPAID MODDERS CAN DO IT FOR FUN YOU STUDIO PEOPLE SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET IT RIGHT

Yes, but he's still the same person. Anders was always angry about the Circle, the only thing that changed between games was Justice motivating him to do something about it.

I never read the Codexes. I'd rather just muddle through the game, and then read a Wikia page or post on the forum if I have a question. The internet is for reading, the video game is for battle and companion interactions!

I was going to turn off even ground after I killed the hinterlands dragon but for some reason I kept it on and killed the rest of the dragons with it on (with a lot of struggle towards the end there . . . those dragons in emprise du lion aren't kidding . . .)

The internet is for reading, the video game is for battle and companion interactions! I bet the Codices would be a lot more bearable to read if the font size and shape wasn't so awful. To this day, I can't stand reading any of the Dragon Age documents because I have to go right up to the screen to read it. Mass Effect never made reading this painful.
