San Diego Comic Con predications: Do you think they'll announce dlc?

I will eat my second favorite hat without mustard if the first we hear about it is from a ComicCon where they're promoting the comic series.

...On purpose, I mean. If they let something slip, that's different. But I really doubt someone will hand Laidlaw a megaphone, and he'll go "DLC IS COMING!" and then drop the megaphone and walk off.

That would be extra hilarious, considering Laidlaw Senior Director of Dragon Age. As well adding to it, he keeps making obvious hints DA4 is in development. If it turns out to be ME:A SP Story DLC, that would be amazing trolling from him.

Now, that will never happen. But damn it, it would be hilarious.

I'm more inclined to believe DLC will be announced (if indeed, there is any in the pipeline) in exactly the same way they've always announced DLC - that is, out of the blue. I can't remember them ever announcing any DLC at any conventions.

Its really easy to get into a bubble with the atmosphere on this forum. Aside from Jason's ego trips, very few actually care that DLC hasn't been announced yet, including the people who enjoyed it. I very much doubt Bioware are actually nervous about the effects of continued silence. Hell, its not even their decision to keep schtum.

The same goes for all this bollocks about how if it isn't announced here, it won't be announced at all. If it were announced at this comic con it would be early-to-normal by Bioware's release track record, and that's assuming everything went smoothly with the main game release (which is fairly clear didn't happen in this case).

I hope that they do, but somehow I really doubt it, and I do hope that I'm wrong. IMHO SDCC is too noisy and "big announcements" tend to get lost in all of the noise. At best we might get some news on new Mass Effect and Dragon Age comics, novels, toys, and other media and maybe we info if there will be any comics, novels, toys, and other media for Anthem.

Video game wise I would say at best that there might, (and the key word here is: MIGHT), be some more news and/or an update on Anthem, but even that might be a stretch. I mean what else could they say and/or show so soon after it's E3 reveal that isn't already known or that EA/BioWare want to the public to know.   

If I were EA, I would release the news of the DLC on September 4th to refute a certain author's article about DLC not arriving. Then drop the DLC on the 5th. Because to me, that's EA. Cunning. Take it as good or bad. Nothing has changed... except this speculation.

If I spoiled it by speculating correctly, then just give me credit for it now.

Bullshit fits whenever the truth never comes out. By the end of the year bioware will have to make some kind of statement if we don't hear anything by n7 day.

Thats nothing I promised if dlc comes out I will buy and play ride to hell. One of the worst games ever made.....ugh......the boinking scenes......
