IF they ever kill ryder in a dlc, its probably because its the end of the storyline, or they do this as a suicide mission which means if ryder dies it is because the player failed to save him, not like a moral choice like at the end of dragon age origins where the protagonist may sacrifice is life because he does not want morrigan to have the power of the old gods.
