I think that many if the people who dislike this are the people that really got into mass effect 3 mp. I skipped mp somehow for 3, and I love AMP. One of the most enjoyable things is leveling up new kits to try out all the different styles of gameplay. At apex 10k, playing casually but binging on weekends, I'm not even close to trying everything. I would be happy to keep paying bioware just to add more kits and weapons for as long as they want

As long as they keep playing, one or another, and I know which one, I honestly am past caring and posturing on the social media. Hells, if everyone decides in concert that DA3MP is where the action is, I'll grind my teeth and go there. I am just not a fan of sitting in queues and open night mike unhappiness while the game is on. I just need to know where I can happily fly under the radar and play to my heart's content. If you enjoy playing the game, may I suggest that you build a group of friends who are in the close by time zones and whom you get along with. This way you can enjoy the game for years to come without worrying about how many people are still playing the game. ME3MP is a good example of that. This. If pugging isn't doing it for you in your region (dunno if that's the case), try building a friends list of people relatively close by. If pugging does work in the sense that there are enough lobbies out there, then isn't that the answer de facto, @carefull ? What time zone are you in, btw? I'm in the Paris time zone (GMT+1/+2) and don't have any problems with finding pugs at this stage... Edit @ dyesevn : I played ME3MP for almost 2,500 hours and I'm enjoying MEAMP as well.

Anyone else feels this way? I wish it was as good as Mass Effect 3. Nope, you're the only dull/boring/stupid creature who feels that way. Patch 1.09 is a couple of magnitudes better than ME3MP. Go away....Scram....Scoot....you miserable wretch.

Threads like this leave me completely confused. Bunch of losers who want BioWare to die have no lives and whine about everything in the game, MP included. That should bring you up to speed.

I do not have trouble finding pugs atm if I play at a particular time of the day, so it is doable, but I am more concerned about the future, as I am obviously interested in investing my time with the game that will continue to have enough pug lobbies. The way I play, both b/c my time on-line is erratic and b/c I am a trash player does not really make me someone that can play in a premade. I am in a Mountain Time Zone, which is not heavily populated, so if I get home too late or have stuff to do before East Coast guys go to bed, I cannot stay late enough to play with the Pacific. And I am getting to old to play with Singapore crowd in the pre-dawn hours, plus I dunno if the folks even play this one in APAC, and so far I was not curious enough to get up at 3 am and see how my connection will be.

Thank you. I was thinking about starting to bug people on my friend lists to play Gold, but, yeah, I just overall feel more comfortable quietly plugging and not bothering anyone (hopefully). Social anxiety? Well, it just feels logical to play with folks that want and need the same thing you do at the precise moment when you play, plus, yes, I know that my abilities as a player are in the low-average bracket, while I have the propensity to want to know stuff, so I do read & talk on the fora which is normally where the really good players congregate and dish. It is useful to a scrub, but it's not going to make a scrub w/o a talent good. It helps to be less bad. I dunno, that's as clear as I can explain it. Overall, I just want everyone to enjoy the game and be happy, and I am happy when I can contribute and don't upset people. i just can't help it. I really like the game, and I am bad at it and I've paid to play it. I do not attach my worthiness to my gaming prowess. So, I try to play in such a way that keeps me happy while not souring the game for others?

What you're describing is pretty much how I felt when I got a late start on ME3MP, and it held me back a lot, keeping me in silver far longer than it should have. My advice would be to use the looking for group thread here and find some likeminded individuals to play with and progress (or just have fun scrubbing it up) with. I did with DAI and now I still play MEA with some of those same people.

So, I try to combine it into something that keeps me happy while not souring the game for others? The first time I jumped into MEAMP on a Bronze pug, we wiped on wave 3. Lol. And then my friends who had already started playing gold carried me through bronze, silver and gold. I play with several people here who are several paygrades above me in skills, but we have a good time when we get together and play. I don't mind playing with new players with lower level characters and loadouts as a returned favor for whose times friends and strangers alike carried me. Also, some of the top players in this game hang out here. So don't feel intimidated - we're all scrubs compared to them.😀😀

You picked up your ability very quickly in ME3, and right from the start you were already strong in ME:A. I'd rather have you on my team than any average PUG, and I don't mind being invited to play Andromeda. I'd ninja-join you if lobbies didn't fill up so fast in ME:A.

First of all I assume you with best intentions are hiding your light under a bushel.
But even if you were a bad player - who cares??? Majority of players here have shown more than once their willingness to carry any low level pug again and again. Why would we be bothered carrying a player who we already have established some kind of emotional relationship with even if he/she wouldn't top score?
Anyway scoring is secondary, how often you die is secondary, even whether a game gets won or is lost - is secondary. Only whether you and your team mates were enjoying some 20 minutes and had fun counts - and this you can equally enjoy with some known people you can btw much better connect via mic than you would do with unknown pugs. At least you might give it a try.

I don't like resetting my characters to low level, so I was feeling bronze was probably too easy for him. Took him to silver and despite his new player APEX and level 3 Turian Soldier, most people seemed alright with it. I mainly play Gold, Plat occasionally, but I also still have embarrassing deaths on Silver. Send me an invite sometime and we can take turns dying trying to res each other.

My one big bugbear with ME:A's MP is the fucked up retarded enemy spawns. Imo enemies under no circumstances should be allowed to spawn directly on top or behind you (which they frequently do at the moment). They should have to spawn at least 20 paces away from a player at any given time.
Another lame thing that happened to me yesterday was when the wave 6 Hack circle appeared directly on top of the enemy spawn place on platinum. Essentially it caused enemies to camp and block the circle throughout the duration of the hack. Pulling and aggro'ing enemies away after they spawned did no good. Because they just resoawned into the hack circle right after we killed them. This happened on Paradox.

But - as we know these things happen this way in MEA - we can accommodate our game play - and did so. Obviously still players are able to win the game predominantly - it would be a different outcome/assessment if extraction rates were 10% or even say only 50%.
Second - the highest difficulty level of any game shouldn't be taken as leveling rule in order to assess a game's overall playability.
Finally - your post is another proof of the game hasn't become boring yet. Refuting the OP's message. Thanks!

I swear, I am not fishing for compliments or encouragement. The biggest reason why this game (and ME3MP) are not boring imo is because people who play it overall are very nice, and the population is just right to create a large enough village with enough oomph to both figure stuff out and carry AND remain friendly b/c you will play with the same people if you play at a consistent time. May it stay that way for long.
Hugs!
Anyway, stuff I just read on APEX missions tilted the scale towards Andromeda, b/c I like the interplay of daily challenges, strikes and APEX. It makes for a bit more lore heavy/alive feel to the game for me atm than the ME3MP (though yep, it has a second to none race selection awesomeness).
