Yeah, that would have been cool! Problem with Witcher is the one lady I wanted to end up with Geralt's buddy got lol Hahaha, yeah Keira is great. At least she and Geralt have some enjoyable...quests together, if only for a short time.

Why? ( i) They would have an additional 7-8 months to polish the game and make it even better than it is now at launch. ( ii) Reviews wouldn't have been soo harsh for a more polished game ( Early 80's maybe?). ( iii) More sales due to better reviews and it being released in the fall. ( iv) Releasing it on * November 7, 2017* would be perfect as it falls on Tuesday which is also the iconic N7 Day. ( v) Wouldn't have to compete with other big AAA open-world games such as Horizon and BOTW. EA said they would have provided BioWare as much time as they needed to, then why did BioWare not delay the game to further polish it? Was EA actually secretly forcing them to release it early or did BioWare just wanted it to get out of the gates asap? Thoughts? No doubt had MEA been released much later on in 2017, Bioware would have had the time to iron a big percentage of the really bad quality animations, bugs, glitches and stuttering that gave the ammunition for all those thousands of memes now spread all over the internet, as well as those really bad reviews, and the understandable frustration from true ME franchise fans, as well as the disproportionate hate the game had. As you mentioned, a later release could have helped to avoid the lower than expected game sales (though, I don't really know how well or how bad MEA sold to this date). There are two things that, IMHO, a postponed release wouldn't have changed. Many of the complains about MEA don't have anything to do with the quality of the animations, neither the bugs, nor the glitches. Those features may be the ones that we can see on most of the memes because it's more basic stuff and is easier to make videos about it. There are many reviews that were very critic of a completely different aspect of MEA and, although very subjective, it can be found on most of the more in-depth reviews about the game. This other type of complains are related to the mediocre, uninspired general writing, bad pacing that gives the player a lack of sense of urgency, forgettable characters, and/or the quality of VA that it has been said to be all over the place. We can certainly agree or completely disagree with those complains but the truth is that no matter how much Bioware would had liked to take some extra months to improve the quality of the game, as compare to its undeniably unfinished shape at release date, they couldn't have changed much regarding this other type of issues, which in my opinion hurt sales as much as the bad general quality of the animations or the sheer amount of bugs and glitches.

The bolded parts are the exact issues I had with Inquisition and it won GOTY. I really don't like open worlds and I don't think anyone does them well. But a lot of people like Bethesda and a lot of people praised Inquisition.

For the next Dragon Age game, I'd prefer it actually follows a similar path as Dragon Age 2, that is the game focuses primarily on a big Tevinter city, of course without the copypasta alleyways and caves outside the city limits.

I think they can be done well. I just don't think Bioware has managed to crack that nut yet, and I kind of wish they'd stop trying. Let me amend my statement to say that I have yet to play an open world that I fully enjoyed. By their nature there is no sense of urgency and the focus is on exploration and not story. I'd prefer to play through a really good story than explore a beautiful 3D render.

Yeah they fixed the dialogue where you either know about Akksul or don't when you find the missing supplies, but Jaal still says he's dead during the Contagion quest even if you haven't done his LM yet. And this just happened and has happened since release. I place the seismic hammers, get water for Prodromos, fight the Architect, mission completed. Then I drive by the site again and Sara says, "Yeah, we should really decide whether to tap water or natural gas."

It was already difficult enough to really get a lot of party banter; anything that made it even harder was a no-no. I would have gotten a kick out of Hawke being the Inquisitor, especially if the LI came with her. Izzy living it up in Skyhold with all the holy people and annoying Vivienne would be worth the price of admission.

The only time I used the horse is when I was completing a speedrun That would be alright I would also like Hawke to have another monologue like she did in DA2

Or BioWare could have used those five years in a better way. They dug their situation by themselves.

Or BioWare could have used those five years in a better way. They dug their situation by themselves. Sorry but this is kinda nonsense. Andromeda has improved on may levels than all other rprevious bioware games: Movement is top notch. Jumping feels accurate and natural. Combat is very fluid. Nomad driving and 2wd/4wd is neat.

Whatever fokkin' happened it's clear that they released the game too early and it destroyed my relationship to it. I had simply too much stress and frustration playing it. Life is too short for bad games.
It probably destroyed the possibility of MEA2 too so hopefully lesson learned. Don't publish unfinished games.

I strugglebused my way through the first playthrough. And haven't been able to get any further than Skyhold in successive attempts. Haven was the high point for me, and it was well done, but the rest I just could not do.

Izzy living it up in Skyhold with all the holy people and annoying Vivienne would be worth the price of admission. I have a silly fondness for annoying the Moshae and Sloane because it's Viv's voice actress lol Lol. I didn't mind Indira Varma as Viv but Sloane annoyed the hell out of me. Three guesses who I didn't save in that scene. Random bit of trivia - the same lass plays Ellaria Sand in Game of Thrones (Oberyn's crumpet)

I prefer ME:A to DA:I. I just lost the will to live with DA:I, shame because I really liked some of the characters, but that gameplay... ugh. THANK YOU!! I'm not the only one. I strugglebused my way through the first playthrough. And haven't been able to get any further than Skyhold in successive attempts. Haven was the high point for me, and it was well done, but the rest I just could not do. I have the same problem, I remember back when Inquisition was released the complaints were that "reviewers were bought off", but since they agree with how some vocal people feel now they can be considered trustworthy. Personally I enjoy traversing Andromeda a lot more then Inquisition, but at the same time I can trace a lot of my problems with Andromeda to the desire to make the game an open world game instead of keeping it the way it was.
