BTW,
I am sure MEA is worth pretty much nothing when you trade in. :yara:

I'm also losing interest. The failed launch is one thing, but all the questionable decisions since then and beta state of the game makes it feel like a waste of time.

Doesn't stop them from trying. Heck, even the #3 in PS4 APEX camps Platinum. Of all players, I thought for sure some dude almost approaching 5k APEX would know how to play by now and wouldn't camp. But nope, I was wrong. The top 10 on psn has been mostly average in skill since the game started. A few have been extremely good but most just play a lot and are meh. I play with at least 6 of them here and there. Darxtryder has definitely gotten much much better and is a very solid player now. He was able to solo a platinum but he needs to open up his repertoire and stop being too reliant on a few OP classes in platinum... Sparkman is definitely tier one. He'll play anything in platinum and can camp or move around. Belgarath is okay but a straight camper...likes to have a controlled game and not use many consumnables. IVVI is a glitcher that quit. DonNiceguy uses a barricade virtually every game and puts out low DPS (as expected from a barricade class). Mergim has gotten better and is okay now but we've carried him almost since the game came out and he can really only play the Operator in platinum. Killabkilledb is the worst scrub of them all... These guys also use the same 5-6 classes over and over again on platinum...operator, angara, batarian, barricade with a small amount of diversity. If you've got 40K apex and can't/won't ever play a human vanguard on platinum...your'e just meh. If you're in a full party of 40K apexes and you aren't regularly tanking hacks, but instead you're letting the angara do it, you are meh. But in all fairness... camping in platinum allows team synergy and to funnel enemies for easy 15 minute 125K games....people are just farming...the grind is brutal. Oh and oldscool and mergim (#2 and #3) hate each other and according to the leaderboards, looked like they were having a $$$ war to get to first.
I've also played with Darxtryder, Sparkman, Belgarath, Don_Nice_Guy and you. But the guy who impressed me the most is BigMike-316, best of the best...

I've also played with Darxtryder, Sparkman, Belgarath, Don_Nice_Guy and you. But the guy who impressed me the most is BigMike-316, best of the best... Absolutely. Mike is better than all of us because his aim is second to none on PSN. I play with him as much as anyone. We let him host for like 2 straight months which matters. He always and only uses the most OP weapons and kits on pre-selected maps (I think I've played hundreds and hundreds of matches with him and he uses the same 5 characters. He never really played ME3 multiplayer and I got him to switch over and try a few games with me and now he is hooked on it and doesn't play andromeda that much anymore. I can't blame him. If 3 had the same movement system as MEA (auto cover, run with L3 and the ability to aim while running, I'd never play MEA again). ME3 is such a better game but the movement system is bad. I wish they would just remaster it with the newer MEA movement system. Three actually feels a bit like a new game to me. Its been so long I forget all the intricacies (like the heavy barrels weight capacity doesn't apply to some weapons, etc) and how to use some of my less played characters. You get kicked more in that game than Andromeda and its more painful in a 25 minute game wave 10 or 11 to get kicked than in a 14 minute andromeda game... Kayb is also best of the best but when the apex glitching started happening he kind of gave up on the game. Comes back when something new drops only. One of the funniest dudes you will ever meet on mic too.

I prefer the auto cover. But running with X is like the worst thing a game designer could ever do on psn. Its grotesque and was outdated even when ME3 was first made. Its ridiculous that they even did that to begin with in ME3.

Well, with the nexus mod(I think it was a nexus mod?) for ME3, you could set sprint/action/cover as separate buttons or keybindings and it's quite nice.

lol, complaining about camping in this game when they have done everything in their power to remove it and then saying going back to me3mp which is camping central is pretty funny. This game has a number of flaws but complaining about camping is low low on the list if you ask me.

This game has a number of flaws but complaining about camping is low low on the list if you ask me. There's some camping in ME3, but not to the extent of MEA. I've more trouble avoiding pug lobbies with certain cheese setups I don't approve of then camping. For MEA camping mentality is so bad that it's practically all player base knows. Also in ME3 camping is usually on one map, Giant, so almost as easy as just avoiding Giant map to avoid campers. Meanwhile for MEA there's practical no map safe from camping.

They had to change the layout of a map there was so much camping in that game. Two if you count the room on glacier. Not to mention 90% of platinum lobbies had/have geth juggs. That class is so slow it camps whether it wants to or not.

Early Geth/Gold/White camp farming Rio Box Firebase Hydra waterfall glitch Platinum/Giant starting area Not really camping central. White was reworked and it was for the better. Never did Rio boxing, nor did any of the guys I played with. Saw Hydra glitchers like thrice in 1000+ matches. Didn't really mind people staying in the Giant starting area - there were enough other maps to offset this.

Maybe once everyone had great gear/manifests they ran around more. But the enemies are super unaggressive and are really easy to kite on mE3 unlike this game. Comparing the ME3 meta a year or two after its release to this game right now is apples and oranges. Were you running into spawns tanking enemies with your phaeton II early in the game? People cried about get farming on white so much the devs added a second hallway. On this game, at least the enemies actually come to you at a reasonable pace. You get swarmed and flanked. ME3 AI is child's play in comparison.

I'm a pretty average player with some preferences in playstyles. I've always favoured a playstyle that includes mobility, flanking, short burst action. I rarely find that in MEAMP anymore. It's true about the kiting, but with the objective timers layed out like this now it useless anyway to do so im MEAMP. Once again, gear and drops get the better over playstyle. In 3MP I could at least contribute and feel that I contrribute with a fucking Phaeston II on my Human Engineer.

Caster classes were far more powerful in ME3, I could play missions without emptying a clip. With MEA distinct cooldowns, I thought it would be even better, but the long cooldowns (and the lack of BAM of most powers) proved me wrong. Maybe the Exemplar can remind me a bit of ME3

And yes, I too avoid Jug players. Otherwise I find way more success in finding preferable Platinum lobbies VS Gold, because too many setups are too OP for Gold.

3MP is camping central? I must have played a different game all the time. Early Geth/Gold/White camp farming Rio Box Firebase Hydra waterfall glitch Platinum/Giant starting area Wasn't around for early Geth/Gold/White camp farming (came in before last DLC). Plus like I've said, BioWare actually fixed this issue with changes to map and enemy factions (can't grab pyros anymore and introduced anti-camp enemies like Geth Bombers, Dragoons and Possessed Scions). Rio Box of shame was for idiots. It almost never worked. Firebase Hydra waterfall glitch I only see maybe 5x my whole time playing. Platinum/Gold Giant starting area camping, like I've already said, is the only real issue with ME3mp outside of some crazy op weapons (Reeger) and kits/power (snap freeze). Didn't say rocket glitching because I actually prefer it to camping, since rocket glitching actually discourages camping and burns out these loser players faster from player base. So it's actually a good thing.
