You guys know what else it detrimental to this game? These daily APEX missions and mission fund challenges. This game is best played in small bursts, with a few days off every now and then, and BioWare having these challenges in place to force you to play everyday is maddening.
Tons of camping in the beginning. Maybe once everyone had great gear/manifests they ran around more. But the enemies are super unaggressive and are really easy to kite on mE3 unlike this game. Comparing the ME3 meta a year or two after its release to this game right now is apples and oranges. Were you running into spawns tanking enemies with your phaeton II early in the game?
People cried about get farming on white so much the devs added a second hallway. On this game, at least the enemies actually come to you at a reasonable pace. You get swarmed and flanked. ME3 AI is child's play in comparison.
You say that as if there's still hope for BioWare to fix MEA.
Me too. Maybe I'll play the campaign one day cuz I still find the idea of going to a new galaxy fascinating. But not the MP...it's no fun...
Yeah, sorry to spoil this for you, but they botched that up too. You might get some enjoyment out of it before realizing how monotonous and repetitive things are. Somehow I manged 70 hours of sp, and all my attempts to return to further explore sp resulted in failure.
I've never been a spotlight kinda person so I'm not making my own thread but I figured I'd announce here that I'm retiring from ME:A. Auf Wiedersehen friends, I'll see yall in Destiny 2 or Anthem, I'm sure.

I know right? If only we as players could collectively get our act together to protest aggresive microtransactions for full priced games. I bought almost all the Assassin's Creed games despite their declining quality (although it has improved slightly since ACIII. Maybe?)
Never played with any of you (or at least I don't think so), but the forum will feel empty without some of you guys But I don't think you're the only one leaving cause lobbies take longer to fill when I sometimes PUG, or maybe it's just the summer and people spend more time outside

No the game is just dead. To say people are just outside would mean other more popular games would have the same situation, but they don't.
"N7 Day what are you going to do?" "N7 day!??? Jezz now people are protesting 7UP??!"

Having a much better time playing other online games like Dark Souls 3. Andromeda was like playing under a giant salt shaker, why I had to get rid of it.

The game isn't dead. Tons of people play platinum on PRIVATE lobbies. I can't think of anyone on my friends list who pugs. They say the same about other folks on their lists. If they do, its a rare event.

That would also mean tons of people play gold on private lobbies as well. Which I would believe, if there was more variety in who I meet up with pugging. That would also mean that on PC, everyone but literally a handfull of people (there is never more than 1 room I bounce i/o of anymore). The odds that literally everyone is playing with friends, all the time, is just unrealistic. Now on PS4 I have noticed more lobbies yes, but not so many to where I would agree this game wasn't on its last toenail of its last toe of its last foot of its las.... you get the picture.

1) I play exclusively on PC, can't speak for the consoles. Platinum fails a lot with pugs because of a lack of communication. Folks who got burnt stick to private lobbies and talk on their mics. Can't speak for gold, haven't hit a gold lobby since platinum rolled in.
2) Folks didn't have enough people on their friend list to host private lobbies. Now they do.
3) There are folks who still haven't spent enough time on singleplayer (those who're new to the franchise). They will be entering multiplayer soon.
4) As with ME3, skilled players from outside NorthAmerica take a while to catch up. I recall the number of skilled players from South America and Asia didn't peak until about a year after ME3 platinum was released. After Murican players get bored and move on, the skilled base from around the world generally tends to chip in. I do expect a temporary dip when Starwars battlefront 2 gets released.
5) Quit being a pessimist (doesn't get you far in life).
