The game isn't dead. Tons of people play platinum on PRIVATE lobbies. I can't think of anyone on my friends list who pugs. They say the same about other folks on their lists. If they do, its a rare event. This actually means exactly that MEA is in its dying stage. Because how are you supposed to meet new friends? The only way I can think of is in pugs or at least public lobbies with maybe 1-2 friends of the host. So, after all your friends and their friends on their friends list will lose interest in another 2-3-4 weeks, the game will quietly die a quiet death similar to DAIMP. No, don't get me wrong, there are still some people playing DAIMP and enjoying it. But these are just a handful, maybe a hundred or so all over the world, not enough to keep it really alive. |

Hmmm; I'm not sure that the number of people who play platinum is really all that indicative of interest in MEAMP. I still find gold PUG games get going quickly, although I look at everybody's load out before I decide to go. If it starts to slow down, that's when you'll know the game is dead. Until then, party down!
