Casey Hudson will save Mass Effect

Aaryn Flynn got sacked, this is a common occurance when the business end of things are declining and Bioware has been in a decline since DAI.

Maybe you do, but I don't forgive people so easily after they torpedo my favorite franchise.

Aaron Flynn himself indicates that he had been considering leaving for some time prior to this announcement and finalized the decision when he learned that Casey had agreed to come back. That does not sound like a "sacking" to me. Bioware could not operate without a GM, so Aaryn (who had been wanting to leave for some time) instead stayed on until they could find a replacement for him. Rather than hire a brand new person, they opted to convince an oldtimer to return... and the way was cleared for Aaryn to leave and pursue other things (i.e. make the changes in his life he indicates in his announcement that he had been considering for some time.

Of course, Dutch, that won't stop you (and others here) spinning things to your heart's content based on pulling stuff straight out of your cloaca and starting numerous garbage threads about it. Carry on.

I need to see your absolute proof of a sacking then... a leaked separation slip or internal memo from Bioware/EA or a formal news release that they fired Flynn.  Sincerely doubt you can provide that though.  You're saying he was sacked simply because you want to believe he was sacked... and you have a very nasty habit of presenting your speculations and exaggerations as fact and a very obvious bias (and that can be shown through a long and extensive pattern of your posts here).

We'll see. I actually like MEA, just don't love it. I think EA might feel that Casey can turn things around but that remains to be seen.

Yes. Because Mass Effect was in large part his brainchild, his baby. If he can save it, he will.

1. The idea that Mass Effect needs saving is dubious at best.

2. The idea that an Andromedas failures are Flynns fault is ludicrous.

3. The idea that Hudson can save me is interesting given the community's opinion of him five years ago. And given both Flynn and Mac have been.involved on ME from the beginning.
