might happen as possible 3rd DLC but thereaer moer important questions that need answering first though like the quarians and the Benefactor/cur for mum but learning moer about the Remnant and that would make for an interesting 3rd DLC I think. I'm actually hoping that revealing the Benefactor and curing Mum are be part of a sequel game (that I'm hoping was being somewhat developed right along with this game... in much the way movie studios these days film sequels together that are being set for release back to back). I know that it is a very slim hope given that they appear to have just thrown away much of their work (with the procedural generation thing)... but I can dream, can't I? If the VA strike is somehow holding up voice work for a quarian ark DLC (because they want to add in a bunch of new voices), then an Abyssal DLC could be done with very few new voices and would, most likely, be able to be recorded in spite of an ongoing strike. Anyway, I'm totally engaging in wild speculations here... so I'll quit for now. ... and just go back to waiting to see what eventually happens. Still, I think the abyssal was a really cool addition to the game. Too back we just didn't get to interact with it more. Too much potential for grand storytelling with the Benefactor being just DLC. It would be better served over 30-60 hours unless BioWare wants to do DLC that big. That would be a great training ground for newer developers. Assets are already in place and if it's not brilliant... it's DLC. Optional. Experiment here and put the new developers to task by coding up Paragon/Renegade options, new UI schemes, get experienced by patching Frostbite and understanding the canvas a lot better, etc. Do I sound like Captain Obvious? Self-awareness check needed.

Maybe with a strange revelation or something like for example the Kett exalted the Jardaan and are now trying to control their technology or something. Like when we found out in the main game in that the Jardaan created the Angara and when Jaal discovered that after all this time he'd been fighting his own people in a way.

Have a boo at the "Is Voeld Screwed?" thread in the spoilers section... some interesting ideas starting to emerge there that might just see us back in the Milky Way after all. (It is a shame if none of all these potential story directions ever make the light of day... but I'm not the sort of person who loses hope easily and I'm extremely patient as well. I'll just keep waiting to see what happens... There's nothing to lose by waiting.)

It's not Bioware's finest moment I agree but it's a far better game than a lot of games I've played and I can see myself doing many playthrough's in time just like I have with both the trilogy and Bioware's other great game series Dragon Age.

I guess they are MEA's answer to DAI's dragons. Once you figure out their pattern they are not to difficult. The most challenging was the vauld one Yeah that was the idea behind them I think provide a boss level type enemy for us to go at every now and then in the game. it's a pretty good idea at the end of the day. Especially as fights like that are usually great XP earners and can offer good materials for crafting as well or at least the dragons could. So they're definitely worth having in the game whether you enjoy fighting them or not I think. I enjoy the architect fights but not quite as much as I liked the dragon fights in DAI. Still they are based on the same overall concepts and they do give you pretty decent loot and crafting material if you like crafting remnant stuff (I usually stick to mostly Milky Way stuff with some Helius stuff mixed in)

But yeah i've built the occasional remnant weapon using materials I got from them. Although not in my current playthrough OI've mostly been using the Kett weapons I have at the moment. Because like Jaal my Ryder's thinking what's better than taking down a Kett than with their own weapons.
