I dont really understand the point of the Nintendo switch... its $300, the games are like just as expensive as the ones on the PS4 I think but... it doesnt seem to do anything... to me, if you want to play the newest and best games you buy a console or a pc... if you want to have a handheld device you buy something like the DS... the Switch seems to have the price tag of one of the more expensive and better consoles but doesnt have the features... I really dont understand what the target audience is... surely its too expensive for a casual gamer and too... I dont know, not really so powerful for the people more interested??? I think they would do better instead of making things like the Wii U and the Nintendo switch to actually make a console... they have some good ideas I think and I love my DS, the games are really cute... but I dont think theyre making the right kind of things if that makes sense I've been pretty ho hum about Nintendo ever since Wii really. It was really just a Gamecube with motion controls which I thought was lame af and had weak 3rd party support compared to N64 and GC (which didn't have the best 3rd party support itself) and the most notable games on the console are 1st party titles. Wii U was even worse and Switch just looks silly and gimmicky and I'm not interested in it at all. At this point Nintendo consoles are nothing more than expensive paywalls to play Mario and Zelda and not much else. And I don't care enough about either of those series anymore to drop hundreds of dollars on a console I won't otherwise play. Maybe if Nintendo ever dropped out of the console business and started developing on other consoles or PC or something I'd buy their games but there's a snowball's chance in hell that'll ever happen so good night sweet Mario. |

I don't know why, but Coke has a sweeter, smoother taste to me while Pepsi tends to lose its...I don't know what it is, it's bite much faster than coke.
I've heard that Pepsi tends to taste like citrus while coke has a raisin-y vanilla taste but it's weirdly reversed for me. Pepsi is sharper in taste but drops to a flatness too soon while Coke holds that biting balance much longer.
So in the end, I'm addicted to Coca cola while Pepsi I can only like for the first few sips before it starts to taste too...sweet and syrupy to finish. Weird, huh?
...this probably was more suited to a random thoughts thread.

I wish they still came in the old can:  This is my 1999. Also it being back in Canada is a mixed bag. On the one hand it's more readily available. On the other hand a colleague pointed out that Canadian Coke bottles are 500 mL while the American ones are 591 mL. Now I can't unsee that I'm getting ripped off for that 91 mL every time I buy one of these overpriced as it is bottles . Sometimes I can still find a convenience store that's got'em from across the border. Meanwhile Pepsi kept it smart and has 591 across the board. First world problems yo. Now we just need this back: I enjoyed watching the Leprechaun horror movies because they are absurdly stupid that it makes me laugh. Especially the ridiculously hilarious deaths. |
