The unpopular opinions thread.

In my opinion, whether friendship or a romantic relationship, I know I've found a good match for myself (especially when it comes to foreigners) if both feel comfortable with being in same room and not saying more than few words in an hour or two. When I first encountered on voice chats and chat rooms when I started using the internet as a young boy, sure partially it was also shyness in regards to using non native language, but also back then already I had problems with the cultural differences regarding this topic. They don't seem to have gone completely away with age and exposure.

I have no problems listening to people, I find people fascinating most of the time. Just don't expect me to hold up a conversation for long and actively without it becoming awkward. It's not part of the culture I was raised in.
