Dauntless reminds me of Monster Hunter. Excited for Monster Hunter World and also excited for Dauntless. MH is definitely about skill more than gear though gear does help. Anyway. Sorry off topic.

Uhh, I don't have an "obsessive vendetta against BioWare." I've been a regular purchaser of their games since their predecessor developed BG2. I've spent over a thousand on this game alone. I want them to succeed.

But you're being delusional in thinking EA isn't reacting to MEA's failure. I've worked with enough businesses in similar situations to understand exactly what's going on. Those in your camp are demanding an impossible level of proof because EA will never allow the specific facts and admissions you want to go public. And you're dismissing everything to the contrary.

(You want to know why Kotaku hasn't taken down its article? It's because it's hard for BioWare to get it taken down if the content is true. Instead, they're taking random jabs at Kotaku's credibility while conspicuously refraining from accusing them of publishing outright falsehoods.)

As to your specific point, yes, I'm well aware that Billy worked at the Edmonton office. He makes that very clear in his tweets. But he's also very clearly part of the MEA team that's being disbanded.

This Dauntless looks exactly like DAI, even animations are very similar. I hope Billy can do something good there and find peace away from angry fans.

Single player DLC is dead

Andromeda MP is doomed pretty much regardless at this point. Still, Buskel's departure gives us some hope that Anthem will have more competent devs behind it.

I really ike that art style they're going with in Dauntless, but what's with Hammer Guy's doofy rocket move that gets him nowhere? "Hey y'all check out this move!" "Ah shit is he doing that stupid rocket hammer thing again, yep he sure is." If I could jet around on a giant hammer, though, I'd probably be all about that too, I guess.

Dauntless looks like shit so it will probably be a good fit for him.
