Constructive Criticism of Andromeda.

This might be more "constructive" if it was posted in the Mass Effect part of the Forum.

K. Well, for starters, there's a whole thread dedicated to reviews of Mass Effect: Andromeda. It's pinned to the top of the General Discussion page, but here's the link if you want to review the game further.

Secondly, I think there might be some confusion on what a "constructive criticism" is. A constructive criticism constitutes pointing out a detail of something that needs improvement, then offering suggestions for improving such things. For instance, your "A wannabe Sheppard with no type of army background at all can all of the sudden fight like Sheppard?" is not constructive criticism. You might say "I personally found it unbelievable that the Ryder character could become a master soldier very quickly when they had no military training. Perhaps more fully describing that transition would be beneficial for those playing the game, or giving Ryder a pre-existing military background to explain their combat abilities."

There's nothing wrong with not like Mass Effect: Andromeda. Some people love it, some people hate it. But if you are going to offer constructive criticism, please clearly define what your issues you are how you think Bioware could have done better in those specific instances.

Sorry you did not enjoy the game. I enjoyed it immensely, and am currently enjoying another playthrough!

I also played Horizon: Zero Dawn, and did not find the dialogue any where near as nuanced or interesting as in Mass Effect. HZD had a fantastic story, to be sure, but the dialogue left something to be desired for me. Aloy's responses were often dissimilar from the prompt, and that the choices made in dialogue really didn't matter to the story or relationships. Still a great game, though. I prefer MEA's more nuanced system.

I liked Mass Effect 3. I was even okay with the ending. I did minimal ripping. I'm also okay with Andromeda, and even enjoy it! Also, I can spell Shepard's name.

Sorry it was a swing and a miss for you. I always like better. There's a metric buttload of things Andromeda could have done better. But I found Andromeda enjoyable, and I'm sorry you didn't.

You're not seriously saying that you posted an Andromeda bashing thread in a Dragon Age subforum, because you weren't able to locate the Mass Effect subforum right above this one? There you will find hundreds of MEA bashing threads, no need to open a new one
