MEA's story may not be the most exciting but at least most of what happens makes logical sense, which is more than I can say for ME2 and ME3. Anything that Shepard does that doesn't involve the Crucible or the Catalyst in ME3 doesn't really make sense, and the Reapers basically give him the victory on a silver platter.

And ME2 had stuff like the Lazarus Project so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This game was utterly horrible. Horrible. The fact that all of you "fans" ripped on ME3's ending to where It's now a meme to only defend this horrible game means you're completely delusional. You should demand better from Bioware and ASAP.

A bit of advice that I feel is warranted: when claiming constructive criticism, don't include destructive criticism in it. That hurts your claim.

"Note the difference between constructive criticism and destructive criticism. Constructive criticism improves a person's behavior, encouraging positive changes. Whereas destructive criticism condemns and discourages the person.
- Destructive criticism demeans, discredits and hurts people.
- In contrast, constructive criticism improves a specific behavior without personal attacks. Their self-esteem remains intact."

Ryder does have a military background: two, in fact. Sara Ryder served peace keeping duties and support roles for Prothean researchers. Scott Ryder guarded an outpost near the Arcturus Station overseeing Relay 202 which led to contested space and had a bad reputation. Before joining the military, Ryder apparently even received informal training from Alec Ryder who was an N7. In Andromeda, they are not a part of the Alliance military but their military background is mentioned repeatedly including in the character creator itself.

Additionally, the combat system used in trilogy is rather, well, simple in comparison to the one used in Andromeda. Shepard's N7 training never came much into play because much of the things that Shepard was trained with, wasn't available with that combat system.

While these are points that can be constructive criticism, they lack the elaboration and examples that would make them more useful as criticism. Basically, they are too vague to really work as constructive feedback.
