Hmm, it's possible they took them out when adding the Jaal romance for Scott. I know they made some changes to the Sara romance as well. If they removed the creepy emails, I wouldn't be bothered one bit.

Between not quite there voice acting and lack of body language because it's a Face shot, I missed the implication. I think the game recognized we butted heads in the journal but I feel like that's a different kind of closeness. A captain never gets along with the doctor completely, it's in the star trek handbook. |
