BioWare Montreal absorbed by EA Motive. Mass Effect IP returns to Edmonton

Relying on EA to not be stupid isn't entirely advisable...

No where in that report did it say "single player downloadable content for Mass Effect: Andromeda cancelled." Till that is officially said from EA or BioWare, then no. 

His due? Well, if it's that important that anonymous strangers on the internet give him his due... here we go...

Using his Twitter feed, Jason Schreier unprofessionally and unnecessarily heckled folks about a video game article on a small fan site for that video game. 

There, there's his due.

My hope for SP DLC dwindles.

And the news about Corey's really got me upset. He was such a sweet dude. This is just so sudden and unexpected. The worst kind.

Where does it say that there's no DLC?

Indeed " I have a bad feeling" as our good friend Jaal would say. Loved his romance he knows how to treat a girl my Natalie really loved him in the end. But yeah that dosen't mean we definitely won't get DLC but it definitely reduces the chances I think. At the end of the day though they did put the game into a playable state so it's not a total loss but it's not looking good

Literally the only site that claims to have any actual confirmation of this is a site that cultivated an audience pandering to the #GamerGate crowd—you know, that group of people who made up complete lies about a woman who worked on the game to incite misogynistic abuse and death threats towards her?

Not a single outlet with any veneer of credibility has reported this. Not even Schreier, and you know he'd take pride at twisting whatever crap he could into an excuse for trolls to harass and threaten BioWare staff.

And frankly, doesn't this seem familiar? A blatant and shameless hoax perpetrated by people obviously trying to incite abuse towards BioWare is disproven soon after it emerges...but then one single journalist declares that he has confirmation, confirmation that no one else has gotten but they're perfectly happy to run their own hit-pieces off of the original "someone said so" article.

So yeah, this is bullshit. It's obvious bullshit, and it's coming from a site filled with people who take pride in pumping out biased bullshit. Anyone who falls for it is pathetic, but nowhere near as sad and vile as the people making up this bullshit.

They're in the same building. That's literally all there is to it.

The only people saying otherwise are a.) shamelessly lying about what the investor report actually said or b.) pretending they have official word from EA, which not a single gaming journalism site that anyone gives a crap about has reported.

Normaly, Nord, I'd agree with you, but one of our own is a part of TR. If Links says he got a response from EA I believe him.

That doesn't mean I blindly believe EA.
