Nobody looks like Yennifer either? In fact, Yennifer and Josephine look almost exactly alike? Josephine resembles Megan Fox imo?
I don't know if you have seen my suggestion, but have you tried SWTOR? The female face models there might be something you like better than DAI/MEA variant. And you can pick between customizations for the NPCs, including all the females, to taste. If not, well, I am pretty sure there are mods for DAI at least. Fair enough. If that's what you think, cool. I disagree. It did check out TOR. Didn't grab me. Maybe I should give it another go.

There are 8 class stories, and each comes with at least one Human female LI (save for the Jedi Consular & Inquisitor who get the alien options, Nadia and Ashara). The artstyle might not be your thing, but you can check it by names. Off the top of my head, it's Kira, Elara Dorn, Risha for the Republic and Jaesa, Raina Temple and Mako for the Imperial side. Lana Benico & Co come in the later game. My favorites were Elara for the Trooper, Ashara for the Inquisitor and Akaavi for the Smuggler, so you might want to avoid those, lol, seeing that my taste in leading ladies is really not your taste. I also loved to play the Bounty Hunter specifically as a male b/c he was an ultimate bad ass with a voice to match & the Smuggler, because he was, well, awesome and, yeah, a chick magnet. If you are looking for more than just the ladies' looks, heh.

...That was quite a post to read. I do believe that part of the reason dudebros hated the game was that Bioware doesn't pander to them as much as the majority of game developers do, but your solution to that is to make 50 % of the population feel unwelcome by being relegated to eye candy? Yeah, no. No. There may have been other reasons for the hate bashing of MEA. I do not think these were the prime ones at all. I think both you and your elephant are barking up the wrong tree. That picture is adorable AF.

Well, I dunno, the graphics are not as good as MEA, but there are a lot of companion customizations, and I really enjoyed collecting/buying those so my companions looked the way I wanted. Within the constraints of the graphics, obviously. There are some long hairstyles you can buy for your female character as well, braided. It is free to try, and it is all BioWARE, so it's just the matter of the artstyle. As far as I know, Andromeda has the best long hair.
I also do not know if you have played Blade and Soul, but you might enjoy a run through its SP portion as it is very much specifically is choke-full of glamorous full-breasted females, dressed to titillate a male specifically, and pretty much does not have a single male in the cast for a long while.

I wish SWTOR was available on console. I'd certainly give it a more thorough go. I don't game much on my Mac. As to Blade and Soul, thanks for the tips, but I've never been into J-games. Nice babes )) but I find J-games a bit juvenile, too focused on the teen market. Maybe that's just a limitation on my part. Quiet (MGS) was a thrill, but a cheap thrill, waaay too cheap. Grotesque, even. Beautiful women aren't the only things I look for in games . It's just nice decoration. Mostly, story and gameplay are much more important, except in Romance RPGs, where looks also count, as I've been arguing.

I was always proud, as a Canadian, of Bioware. It seemed to strike a nice balance between avoiding toxic masculinity and not neglecting masculine desires, while at the same time taking pains to bring women and other genders into the game.
With DAI, the pendulum began to swing too far.

Beautiful women aren't the only things I look for in games . It's just nice decoration. Mostly, story and gameplay are much more important, except in Romance RPGs, where looks also count, as I've been arguing. Blade & Soul was the only Asian title I have played (not to the end, obviously, just a part of the story that was released) and while the story is nothing to write home about, the artwork/atmosphere of the game was captivating. The Cinderland Babes Parade was hilarious and made me roll my eyes, but overall, it was a pleasant game to run through. It was not a Jade Empire MMO I've hoped for, but I could see why people would play it.

May I ask that you wish the same for me and my Yennefer? Huh? Did I? I did not play W3 and not going to, and as far as Bio games are concerned, I like what I see in Andromeda (I am not a big fan of Inquisition artwirk), and as long as the characters are pleasant I am fine with them having long hair.

Do you think male and female needs can all be satisfied satisfactorily in a single game? I am happy with BioWARE's products. I've met men satisfied with BioWARE's products. I met women not satisfied with BioWARE products. It takes all sorts. No one game will ever please everyone. The more niche the individual player's preferences are, the less games are out there for them to chose from.
In MEA, I find the romantic options balanced and pleasing fwiw.
BioWARE is my gaming developer of choice since 1999. If you have problems with BioWARE, maybe it should be you looking for another AAA developer. Not insinuate that I should sit and wait for an RPG that is "appropriate" for a girl, because, OMG, I must deep down real yearn to play sh*t like Twilight.

Because segregation has always been a good idea... Man, I wish there was less snark and more thought in this world. Think about movies and books. It's a Venn Diagram. Chick/Neutral/Dudes. Bioware has been trying to straddle the middle. I'm not sure it's working. A lot of guys feel the Chick circle is bigger than the Dude's. Again, please try to think outside this echo chamber, to the wider male gaming audience. It's averages that count, not our own, "I think ... is hot/ugly!"

I didn't mean to insinuate that. But yeah, that's how it came out. What I meant was: Holy crap! Imagine what Amy Hennig could do with her own studio, truckloads of money, and no male gamer expectations to worry about!

I am pleased with what BioWARE does, and will continue to purchase their games and enjoy them. If you do not, I suggest you purchase something else and enjoy that. I have never believed in the whole "men are from Mars, women are from Venus". I believe that we feel, laugh, grieve and game the same. I do not believe in irreconcilable differences between the sexes. I believe that we can have a blast playing the same games, and even (gasp!) playing together. I invite you to do so. Or not. That's your choice.
