Nah that's not how this works. I'll stick around until the very end. Which could be anyway now. I don't understand what your saying, since you think that anyways...and yet your still here? He's waiting for the new BSN to end?

It's like you didn't read my comment at all. No, from my perspective, their opinion is less credible because they clearly have zero ability to discern good from bad, and still haven't mastered this ability after 100 hours. It goes both ways, you see? Zero ability to discern good from bad? Funny. My point still stands even if they ended not liking the game at least they completed the main quest and have a more complete opinion. You have your talking points and you fail to see the points others are trying to make. You might have a more complete opinion, it's not worth anything to me though because of your inability to see it for what it is - which should take all of 5 minutes, let alone 10 or 100 hours.

At least they have more credible opinion than someone who has only played for ten hours. It's like you didn't read my comment at all. No, from my perspective, their opinion is less credible because they clearly have zero ability to discern good from bad, and still haven't mastered this ability after 100 hours. It goes both ways, you see? So, all the mainstream reviewers (IGN, Gamespot, and apparently Giant Bomb Angry Joe.etc, etc) should just stop at 10% complete status of a game and they should be able to judge a game fairly? That's what your saying, right? That's like you stopping at 10 minutes of movie and declaring whether or not it's good or bad.

You know had a very similar experience to suikoden. I only made it through about two paragraphs of anarchys review. There was a factually inaccurate point. Did i comment on it? No. Did i spam them with thoughts of how horrible the review was? No. Hell for all i know the review could have been really really good. But i was not in the mood to read more.

It's not my job to play a horseshit product. I had a taste - it tasted like horseshit. I actually feel bad for reviewers that have to play this monstrosity all the way through when they clearly hate it from the start. But I'm thankful for their efforts.

Ideally quit at ten minutes so you can spend time playing games that are actually worth your time and don't insult your intelligence. Like Zelda, or TW3, Horizon, etc. Which I did.

May I ask why you waste your time in this subforum, then? If you never actually played the game? Just doing my part to spread the word about this game. I played enough of it to know that Bioware Montreal probably killed a beloved franchise for the next decade if not forever. And they've been punished accordingly. It's fair enough that you don't like Andromeda. Not everyone can like everything. But people don't need you to "spread the word", they can form their own opinions. And its a fairly dickish move to constantly try to turn everything from a positive to a negative. It's that kind of attitude that's turned the internet, and the gaming community especially, from an enjoyable place to one full of vitriol.

It's over. I think we can all agree to that for the sake of letting suikoden guy to stop carrying his burden.
Ah, I wish it was as easy as that.

Especially as the first ten hours are a lot like the first ten hours of ME1. Although why you have gone around eating horseshit is another matter.

I think a lot here are underestimating Mass Effect's likelihood of returning. While EA clearly plays a role, it's ultimately up to the General Manager of BioWare to determine what projects BioWare Edmonton and BioWare Austin will work on. It was under Aaryn Flynn's leadership that the franchise was being shelved for an unspecified amount of time. Casey Hudson, the creator of Mass Effect, has now become the General Manager of BioWare.
Under his direction, I could envision Hudson making an attempt to revive the franchise after Anthem and DA4 are released. Even if Anthem is supported for the next decade, as EA seems to be alluding to, the studio (Edmonton) is large enough to work on more than one project at once. It's very possible that quite a few of the folks on DA4 could switch over to Mass Effect to repair the brand and give the franchise another chance.
There's no guarantee that's going to happen, of course. That being said, nobody cares more about Mass Effect than Casey Hudson. With his return to the company, I think there's a good chance we could see Mass Effect again in the next five years.

Now we'll all have to pay for those 10 hours he'd spend playing a game 5 months ago. Haven't we suffered enough for his error in judgment and him liking the ME-OT? Why, oh why did he had to go and download the free trial? Why did he not hate the ME? He certainly have the reserves of hate, why can't he turn it to the good use and just hate everything BioWare has ever done, and just leave it be then, since the pre-requisite to the crusade will be removed? There gotta be something other than logic, common sense, decency, boredom, respect for others... something... suikoden, put the price on leaving the site, and I will start crowdfunding, I swear. Do you want me to buy you some other game? A candy Bar? A kite?

The fact that you equate the two at all, is ludicrous to me. The dialogue, characters and story In the first ten hours are quite possibly the worst I've ever encountered in a videogame. It's like a bad junior high fan-fiction of Mass Effect.

Most people on this forum don't post at all. A "handful"? This is BSN's most popular subforum. Though, I'll admit that I'll focus my energy on DA4 (more DA4 as I'm more invested in that story then Anthem) and Anthem if there is no dlc. I like the idea that you think you single handedly made people "see the light".

If Anthem is not a successful franchise, something will have to be brought out of retirement, either ME or JE. They can only milk the DA for so many games (well, okay, they can do it forever, but a girl can hope, right?). They will want to have a sci-fi franchise imo, and ME is a great verse.
Of course I am secretly hoping that ME hiatus might give JE a chance. But in the fantasy world, they are likely to ride the DA horse, so... as someone who is not a DA fan, I'd rather see ME moved off the backburner sooner than seeing DA4, DA5, DA6, etc.
