Thank you for pointing out the exact reason I have no interest in MP. That bullshit pervades MP (or at least it did in the past when I tried it) and I'm not interested. Hence, when MP becomes a BioWare focus I start losing interest. Which sucks since I played all the old BioWare games like KOTOR, Neverwinter Nights and Baldur's Gate. Visit the Andromeda and 3MP subs, I think you'll find quite the opposite. Maybe now, but what happens when it's full blown MMORPG?

GOOOOD.
No more Mass Effect games. Mass effect should have ended in 2012 with ME3, as intended. Dragon Age is fulfilled with Inquisition.
Finally some new developer company can be formed and it can work on Star Wars and Forgotten Realms RPGs. So much wasted potential.

(...) I have no doubt that BW's fan base would have been far more forgiving of glitches and poor animations if they could see that real passion had gone into the creation of MEA's world and stories. (...)

Let's be clear first, this thread isn't directed to insult the true fans of the Mass Effect series. It's about all those "special" folks who are tearing the franchise and BioWare apart by screaming ME3 being a failure just because of it's ending even if the game was a masterpiece, MEA was quite decent yet they treat it as if it's an abomination. About 85% of the ME fanbase never gives BioWare a break and rips their games apart for the smallest issues, they literally want EVERY BW game to average 90+ on Metacritic and get 10's everywhere. Just recently saw IGN's review of Agents of Mayhem, despite the game being buggy and average almost 75% of the comments were urging peeps to support Volition. Never saw anyone doing the same for BioWare. Congratz BW "fans", you've successfully killed an amazing franchise. What's next? Dragon Age? Almost tried burying down a great game like DA:I since they didn't like some of the features or probably NO reason at all just to hate by giving their nonsense excuses like "SJWs", etc. I'm sure this thread will roast me alive for this... Volition generally hasn't over-promised and under-delivered on its games; that earns fan loyalty. Even if you want to call Red Faction: Armageddon a disappointing follow-up to Red Faction: Guerrilla, Armageddon is at least an incredibly fun game to play, if limited in scope. If you're disappointed by the direction Saints Row has taken, or view Saints Row 4 as a copy-paste of Saints Row 3, SR4 does offer some hilarious high fun times and superpowers - which have yet to be implemented better in any other game. BioWare has very little loyalty left among its fans. Little was promised for Andromeda, true; the E3 hype mostly consisted of videos of people sitting at their desks working on the project. The story trailers said two things: the Mako is back, and you can explore the unknown. If it had shipped in a finished state, it would be a "meh" entry in the franchise, with hopefully a brighter future ahead of it. Instead, it became meme fodder. Nobody gets a do-over of the first impression, and Andromeda's first impression was poor. And I disagree about the "SJW" issue being a "nonsense excuse": SJWism was glossed over in DAI because it was a side-character and (mostly) one awkward conversation in Skyhold's tavern; Andromeda's most blatant SJWism altered well-established asari lore. Of course long-time fans (a number of them with blue-waifu profile pics) were pissed. That wouldn't have mattered if the game had been good enough to attract a large new audience. TL;DR Volition still has a lot of goodwill among its fans. BioWare doesn't.

We have found the triggered snowflake fan, and it is you OP. You have been triggered by the opinions of other's, to the point where you want to shift blame for an abortion of a game from the people who made it to the people that bought it in good faith. Sorry, duder, but that is a whopping load of horseshit. ... The majority has spoken. A single individual calling the majority a snowflake is irony. Lmao sorry to break it to ya but I don't have any problem with your opinion but with those who have been hating on BW and MEA a year before launch praying for it to be a failure. You're probably too blind to see that, a shit ton of people (probably you as well) hate on BW just for the sake of hating (for no reasons). So please take your post and stick it.

Are those real estimate or are you just pulling that out of thin air? Because you can't throw in statistics without proof. If anything your thread seems more click baity and using that "true fan" statement is super annoying and unfounded because fans don't have to be on the same page on anything. If any case the ones who absolutely despise this game may think themselves as true fans. Because the whole idea of being a "fan" is more a less subjective. Additionally - why are you giving the more vocal jaded fans the shaft when really you could be more upset at BioWare for caving in to the jaded fans or yourselves for not being louder than them?
Also what about other BioWare games that got hated by fans but still manage to deliver on updates and DLC? Dragon Age II got a lot flak from fans and we still got single player DLC and add-ons. I don't remember EA/BioWare pulling the plug on that - but it's a prologue to Inquisition so we'll let it slide. And unrelated No Man's Sky got the same amount of abuse Andromeda had but they're STILL to this day updating it for the loyal fans who stuck around despite it's issues. Doesn't that seem a bit depressing and somewhat pathetic that an small indie team can still give the experience they wanted originally yet a big budged AAA studio just game up because people were mean? But it isn't BioWare so it doesn't count. Oh but they kept multiplayer in though. Totally not because of microtransactions or anything?
Look I agree with some of the criticism but we all need to agree that above all else something that EA/BioWare must understand is that Andromeda as a game can never happen again. Absolutely not. They can't release a half finished product; they can't go radio silent a just shut their fan base completely and not update them on what's going on; and they cannot expect that we as customers are going to be okay with this in the future. We shouldn't be okay with this. We need to be very clear with that - so yes we need to be loud (how loud is all on everyone) and let them know that we don't want another "my face is tired".

It's amazing how in one situation the people who post in forums, post reviews, or make youtube videos complaining about a game are a vocal minority because most players/fans don't use these mediums, and then in another situation all of a sudden it's 85% of players/fans.
If 85% of players/fans do anything, it's one of three things.
- Start playing, not like it and never finish it - Force themselves to finish it because they paid for it, but don't replay it - Like it and play it multiple times
You'll never hear from these people or know why they made the decision they made.

There is little point in being a fan of a soulless corporate entity like Bioware. It's just a brand name, the people under it change all the time. You might as well be a "fan" of Mountain Dew and Cheetos. And that's before getting into the irony of a thread complaining about triggered snowflakes by someone that exhibits all the signs of a triggered snowflake...I know, the blatant hypocrisy sticks out like a sore thumb. Most of the folks I see around here that appear triggered seem to be fanboys.

Eur... what ? Sorry but : 1/ I don't feel concerned at all by your weird accusation and I consider myself as a huge ME fan. And we're plenty, far more than the 15% left. 2/ May I also remind you that a huge number of fans are not expressing themselves on internet ? so 85% of evil fans who never gives BW a break blah blah blah ? Naaaah. I think you meant 5% Maybe people should stop accusing fans for everything and anything. You're clearly expressing your frustration in this thread against people who did nothing wrong (to you or to the game itself) and make few haters a generality. Take a deep breath would you ?

You know, I actually agree with you for franchise closures, but I would prefer new original settings vs FR and SW. I would not mind seeing another game or two set in JE, and while Anthem is not my cup of tea, well, at least it's a new setting. There is only so much one can do with the same assets. Overmilking the verses is a plague of today's sci-fi/fantasy writing tbh.
