Is the BioWare/Mass Effect fanbase really filled with triggered snowflakes?

I've only finished that game twice, but Abrams still hasn't told me she's trans.

It was patched due to outrage it created. Without it it would still be there. Jacob, as boring as he was was a character. He wasn't a black character, a black man, black this and that, he was a character. 

He does look exactly like Kanye West.

Hitting a stereotype =/= a stereotype being a character. 
You can have a gay man with a gay lisp in a game. And he can be a good character as long as his gayness isn't what makes the character. Skip the entire "I'm gay, I'm very very gay" speech and have them behave like a normal people.

Its still there. It just opens up later. I just heard it and, as usual for this fanbase, outcry over nothing.

Dorian didn't announce it either. He only says so when confronted by his father, which makes for a pretty strong story point, given the situation. Apart from that you could flirt with him as a female character and be non the wiser if you hadn't already figured it out.

Yeah, with Krem the most it goes is he mentions breast binding and that's when the Inquisitor can either inquire about it or just let it go and ask about the other Chargers. Other than that there are a few investigate options with Krem and The Iron Bull but the player has to choose those. 

I've been in several situations where people announced to me they were gay/bi/trans/whatever without prompting.

I've also gotten asked if I'm gay/bi/trans as conversation starters before.

It's a "thing."

A friend told me he was gay. But we were friends and not total strangers. I've never been in a situation where a stranger said something like that to me.
