No more future patches....so Bioware just given up on fixing the rest of MP now

They never did. There is no love or care for the game and its players since release. It's made to be as automated as possible and a testing ground for the next game from Bioware. No interaction from devs other than modifiers for specific history missions, and that requires bare minimum interaction which they stopped doing since June. The remaining characters and weapons are already in the game, but they won't release them all at once since releasing piece by piece gives the illusion that they're active in this game.

That would be funny.

Have to figure they were working on something new up until the point where they were told they couldn't do patches anymore. But then why keep the guys around for 4? more months if all the content is contained in previous patch already? Just fucked all around.

Also fuck console patch regulatory bullshit.. and fuck triple A title industry.

Not liking the idea of trickling out new items and characters without any patches to potentially fix broken shit introduced with new content.

I was actually surprised that during the downtime of their camera that they weren't dismantling their studio around them, carrying bits off into the sunset

The beta is over. The full release game has been cancelled. I can't decide if it's the result of shitty corporate nonsense or open contempt for fans of the franchise. Probably a bit of both. I had a dim sliver of hope but the stream yesterday was very demoralizing. Anyone know of any similar games out there worth playing other than ME3?

These were the worst 60 (a bit more for me due to taxes and other BS) dollars spent in my life. What a waste of money. Ending support of the game 6 months after release, huge slap in the face for the people who supported them through all this shit of a release.
They should formally apologize (of course it wont happen though), especially to the people who spent irl money into packs and shit. What was that money for?

Absolutely disgusting. Honestly I don't understand how could anyone continue to defend them as a company after this. They can't take criticism, they give up on their games and community, and their answer is "sorry about that, btw looking forward to see your money next time" .

I think the Division has less players than MEA at this point.  Although Massive at least supported the game for a much longer time, but they had their own issues with content and ideas in that game.

I have only used the matchmaking a couple of times so I wouldn't know (I always play with lecorsob so I don't need a 4 player group, he's a robot)
