With multixapacitors and all of the relevant shield regen perks (which you don't need to go out of your way for), if you kill something in cover your shields go back up before the invuln ends. It's every bit as OP as it sounds.
This character is platinum viable at level 1.

So, what you're saying is... I won't be able to stand in the middle of the map using a gatling gun to mow down enemies by holding trigger as an "I Win" button? O.o PRE-CANCEL RE-ORDERED You can do it far better with the Juggernaut than the Turian Havoc Trooper (while hovering) or a Turian Soldier with a Siphon Cyclone/Soned/Rozerad.

Ok, this character is outrageously OP. I don't believe them for a second that they did any playtesting with him whatsoever. Invuln is without question the way to go. I don't know how they determined that 1.5 seconds is balanced, it's not even close. Put a multicapacitor on him and even a modest killstreak will restore your shields, which is easy to do because since you're FRIGGIN INVINCIBLE, you can afford to be way, way more aggressive. Dude... Don't say such things! Now they'll make an extraordinary patch, contrary to previous announcements. Containing only a Juggernaut nerf, "by popular request". >.>

Juggernaut is an epic character, certainly platinum viable as he can tank well and debuff. Silhesh is a decent SMG too, pretty much on a par with hurricane. Today is a good day to play ME:A MP

Kicking someone with a 21,000 APEX rating in a gold lobby is ridiculous. Even if they're bringing a level 1 rank I character. Kicking someone with 210 APEX from a Gold lobby is ridiculous.

Ok, let's recap:
- Approx 900 health and 400 shields with essentially permanent 160 DR
- Whenever he gets a kill, he gets 1.5s invuln and for all intents and purposes refills his shields
- 28% weapon damage from passive is on the higher side
- Snap Freeze +135% damage vs armor, can use disruptor ammo vs shields
It feels like the only kits that can compete at all are the Scrapper and stealth kits. Scrapper gets a lot more damage but Juggernaut still has great dps and much better defensive options.

Enjoying this character, even on level 9-10. Only have him on rank VII too. But what the frack is "100% falloff"?

Does anyone have a clue how that passive works? Does it ramp up, and how much damage (or hits) is needed for full bonus?

Well, that new juggernaut is surely tanky but still every dog can grab and every whim of whatever comes staggers. So, no, and also that so-called juggernaut is kind of small, has to be bigger to really be called juggernaut, at least head over the krogans. I presume this is some kind of celebratory impostor and BW messed it all up. A very utilitarian kit IMHO without any cosmetic uniqueness. One might compare the kit to ME3 destroyer but this new one did not get devastator mode and his dakka is very much ordinary.

Updated the OP with some Gold video gameplay. Remnant Sandstorm. Lots of hovering and shooting (100% accuracy buff is great with the Rozerad). Had to use an Ops pack a couple times, but otherwise, this is a very tanky character. Good luck leveling and playing him BSN members! Nice, though I think you should have solo'd the whole match

He is a nice kit. Mine is only at V (took a long hiatus from playing), but I've enjoyed the few games I had, he feels quite tanky and capable of multiple Cryo combos in one cast of Snap Freeze (is that the right name?) and Shockwave. He reminds me a lot of the N7 Paladin, but feels more like a true Sentinel than the Paladin. Voice acting is dull and generic though, as one could expect.
Overall a very nice addition to the game. It is a shame he is coming this late.

Hipster build with 1 point in Apex Training:
Snap Freeze: 4B (Reach), 5B (Brittle), 6A (Anti-Armor). Fortify: 4B (Mobility), 5A (Shield Feedback), 6A (Unmoving Defense). Shockwave: 4B (Radius), 5B (Reach), 6B (Lifting Shockwave). Apex Training: 1 point. Remnant Armor: 4A (Regeneration), 5B (Evasion), 6A (Invulnerability).
Equipment: Stronghold Package / Multicapacitor.
Weapon: Scattershot (Siphon) with Barrel and Choke.
Tactics:
Red-bars and armored: Snap Freeze -> shoot -> Shockwave -> repeat. Red-bars in cover: Shockwave -> Snap Freeze while they are flying -> get closer and shoot. Shielded: shoot (Disruptor Ammo can help) -> see red-bars.
He has at least 100 DR in any situation, so health and shields are doubled. Moving and shooting - 50 DR from Fortify and 50 DR from Remnant Armor, disabling the device - 100 DR from Fortify with Unmoving Defense, jumping and evading - more than 100 DR. Shield and health recharge is very fast.
Apex Training is not really useful - Scattershot does not need additional 23% of damage and skills are utilitarian and not really damaging.
Adhis can't grab you because they are flying on Lifting Shockwave. Armored targets melt with Snap Freeze. Invulnerability on kills allows to play very aggressively. My favorite kit for now.

Hipster build with 1 point in Apex Training: I honestly invested full on on Apex Training just to get some Weapon weight reduction and use the Shorty at 100% cooldown; since he is a tank, I just can't resist the idea of shotguning enemies' face up close and personal. But if I were using any other lighter gun, I would probably invest just 1 point like you did.

I'm rank IV now on my card for him, and i've also not spent into Apex training yet, i'm finding so far withe the way i'm playing him that he's just fine without points in this, although the combo damage bonus within this skill set are an obvious lure! I've got him levelled to level 16 so far, so should have him to 20 sometime today. Overall, i'm really liking the jugggernaut and i too wish he'd been released quite a bit sooner too, but part of me is also glad that he has been released now also as we are now only getting minimal to no support coming down the line. Actually, jugnuts is more newb friendly than a infiltrator. No other class in the game can walk around in the open and negate the entire cover system. Played him out more last night and this character with a siphon weapon can not die. Or rather let me intensify, I have to get hit with 4 destroyer shots and take 2 observer lazers to the face and be reloading my gun to get killed. (gold) This kit allows newbs to do what newbs do, run out into the open and just get shot by things. I can see a platinum solo with him later on. I think this is biowares answer to the infiltrator storm this game seems to have... he surely replaces every single one in my book. He doesn't burden the rest of the team like an infiltrator, as a matter of fact, by openly getting shot, he allows other players to come out of cover and go full auto attack. Best character released yet,........even as late as it is.

If all of Bioware's fuckups were as awesome as the N7 Paladin, we wouldn't be complaining so much. The Juggernaut is really nice, as people above said - he's a really awesome tank and great character. My only complaint is that he's a bit boring to play to be honest, at least for me. Yes, he's got the unique passive tree but he's not really something unique for me, playstyle-wise. Shoot, snap freeze, get in cover tank ALL the things!, shoot, freeze, repeat...

He's an excellent bullet sponge, and was working fine for me on Platinum when a team was stationary.
Personally though, I do like that the Scrapper has a bit more offense... certainly not as much defense, but more offense to kill smaller shit with flak cannons.
Only "downside" really with him is the reach of his powers. Snap freeze and shockwave have limited distances, even when you choose the options to extend their distance. On Platinum, you usually have all kinds of shit around you, so this isn't a problem. On lower difficulties though, you kill enemies so fast at distances with guns, I was rarely using powers.
And depending on if/how you use Fortification, faster teammates get to enemies before you do! I feel like Fortification isn't needed on Gold as much, if you plan on using his powers.

On gold and below this character pretty much can't die. On Platinum he's the only character tankier than the shield boost kits and is a good platform to transition to that difficulty. We're comparing him to the other best kits in the game, but remember that there are another 80% or so of kits that he just makes look foolish. I didn't play a ton of platinum in ME3 (just a few times to prove I could do it) so I don't remember how easy it was to get through with the juggernaut etc.

I'm disappointed this thread wasn't titled "Getting Juggy With It".
At any rate, I like him. He's a super tanky weapons platform. Feels like a cross between a Turian Soldier and a Batarian Scrapper. I wish Shockwave were something else (introducing Stasis would have been cool), but they could have easily made him way too good, so it isn't a bad pick from a design perspective. He has good overall "flavor."

Would have been nice if he had Barricade instead of Shockwave. Juggernaut himself is a walking Barricade. Played him for a few game on platinum with friends last night. Snap freeze serves as good crowd control/debuff and he can block bosses for teammates using his own body as long as he is doing damage. We usually have some shield restoration kits in the team (shield boost, annihilation field) but still this guy almost never dies and can revive anyone out in the open before his damage resistance fallls off. Best tank in the whole Andromeda Galaxy. Imo scrapper is still the superior kit with both massive dps and decent survivability. But juggernaut is certainly a blast to play. Always nice to see more diversity on platinum rather than the army of avengers
