Well, unlike the above poster who clearly had the drunken juggernaut tests to do. I decided to try the sleepy ones. Draging a sleepy juggernaut who isn't even specced for max DR to gold worked out much better than expected, despite getting a map I hate, and still not entirely sure what guns to use (and thus lacking in damage output). I will admit to going down once early on, I held faith in the "excellent" hard cover system, my faith is shaken, and shall use first aid in future. Anything beyond that, I am too tired to remember. Clearly this character is too OP and needs a nerf, maybe -40DR when not in hard cover, because there's such an "awesome" cover mechanic that BioWare went to all that trouble to code

After rigorous empirical studies, I have determined that Juggs is viable for One Life To Live (Gold), even on Fridays, when the player has been exposed to a moderate amount of ethanolic solutions (Porters and IPAs (NΓΈgne Γ; used as received, without further purification); imbibed separately and alternately). Methinks you only got through because you saw that one life double... ; )

Would have been nice if he had Barricade instead of Shockwave. Wat You're not serious, are you? Yes. Or at least Energy drain instead of Shockwave. That would make him the ultimate tank.

I like the juggernaut exactly as he is now, it is unlikely you'd be able to get energy drain or barricade without losing the passives he's got though as they are often linked.

It's probably the only non-Biotic/Vanguard character I like...though maybe it's too early for me to claim that since I've only done a couple bronze apex missions...but so far I like the balance between the 3 powers and his passives.

Hipster build with 1 point in Apex Training: Snap Freeze: 4B (Reach), 5B (Brittle), 6A (Anti-Armor). Fortify: 4B (Mobility), 5A (Shield Feedback), 6A (Unmoving Defense). Shockwave: 4B (Radius), 5B (Reach), 6B (Lifting Shockwave). Apex Training: 1 point. Remnant Armor: 4A (Regeneration), 5B (Evasion), 6A (Invulnerability). Equipment: Stronghold Package / Multicapacitor. Weapon: Scattershot (Siphon) with Barrel and Choke. Tactics: Red-bars and armored: Snap Freeze -> shoot -> Shockwave -> repeat. Red-bars in cover: Shockwave -> Snap Freeze while they are flying -> get closer and shoot. Shielded: shoot (Disruptor Ammo can help) -> see red-bars. He has at least 100 DR in any situation, so health and shields are doubled. Moving and shooting - 50 DR from Fortify and 50 DR from Remnant Armor, disabling the device - 100 DR from Fortify with Unmoving Defense, jumping and evading - more than 100 DR. Shield and health recharge is very fast. Apex Training is not really useful - Scattershot does not need additional 23% of damage and skills are utilitarian and not really damaging. Adhis can't grab you because they are flying on Lifting Shockwave. Armored targets melts with Snap Freeze. Invulnerability on kills allows to play very aggressively. My favorite kit for now. I've got him at XX but he's still L10. Started building him leaving Apex Training at 1: I definitely agree he doesn't need it on Gold and below. Looking forward to getting him to 20 and trying Platinum with this build... I've played Platinum with this build about 20 times (at least once on every map) with PUGs (all 10k - 20k APEX). They're constantly detonate my Snap Freeze or use Flamethrower over it, but I'm still able to kill things pretty fast (using Disruptor Ammo III and Shotgun Rail Amp III). Score is usually around 30k (a lot of assist points, just like the Pwnytail), with a good team it can be higher. I've never died (and never used First Aid Pack) while playing vs Remnant or Outlaw. Kett is more painful because Ascendant's attacks bypasses DR. Today's daily Platinum (Kett/Aqua) was laggy for me, so I've died about 10 times when have been facing two Ascendants at once. Scattershot is amazing weapon for Platinum, so I use TWO Scattershots now. Two Scattershots at Rank X will give you -6% cooldown speed. If you overheat one - use another, don't waste your time on reloading.

Wait - Scattershot affects cooldown speed? Is that a verified effect? Default weight capacity is 30, two Scattershots is 36, so 6% cooldown speed penalty. Edit: Ruzad does give a melee bonus, Scattershot doesn't. Edit 2: Variants' weight doesn't change with ranks, Rank I is fine too.

Wait - Scattershot affects cooldown speed? Is that a verified effect? I think he meant the weight of weapons being over the limit, hence reducing cooldowns slightly. Edit: Ninja'd

Agree on scattershot. Sustained dps is incredible with high clip size that refills super fast. Good damage per shot too.

If you overheat one - use another, don't waste your time on reloading. Tried him at XX L20 on Platinum now. First off, this guy's damage resistance is ludicrous: you can walk up to about anything, take a few hits and still remain standing. wOw! I'm going to change a few things, however. First would be the Shockwave 'lifting' evo: I hate it when enemies go flying away from Juggs. I think it has to do with Snap Freeze. I don't like Explosive Purge on him either. Love it on others but I don't feel the need to use it with him (as in: I found I never used it in matches). Last, I'm not a fan of the Scattershots on Platinum. They work fine for me on Gold but on Platz, I like a gun that covers some more distance. That and you have to equip ammo/rail amp like you said. The points I'm not investing in Shockwave and Explosive Purge obviously go into Apex Training. But with my current build, I have 1 point which can't be allocated so I have to fiddle around some more before posting a final preferred build (for Platinum)...

Good job on your Gold solo. Where were the locations of the two hacks? Any dicey moments that you had? Both hacks were in the back of the map. First was in the room on the second floor (left side), second was on the roof (right side). Two Hydras almost blocked me on wave 7, luckily I killed an Adhi with cryo combo and Invulnerability helped me escape to the roof.

Whenever I was super low on health, I was like, βWhereβs an enemy I can get rid of quickly to gain invulnerability?β
