Shepard and Ryder gets into a fist fight. Who wins?

As of right now? Shepard. Dude punched out a Yahg.

It's always a little weird for me to think of whose the better fighter. Shepard has experience and feels like the obvious choice, but I feel like Ryder has more 'potential' if that makes sense.

But yeah, Shepard punches like a mother fucker. The goddamned cyborg zombie.

Why I am on the fence.
From a tactical standpoint of view:

Each character have abilities that are good for their skill sets:
    -Skill set for Shepard being locked to one profile.          
    -Shepard has years of experience using his/her abilities and N7 training and would still be in quite good shape -he is only 30 in 2184.
    -Shepard can upgrade his abilities but again only those tied to his current profile.
    -Shepard also has EDI -the AI that sort of acts like S.A.M. -if listened to in ME2 or taken on missions in ME3.
    -Downside Shepard is bound to the ground and can't really go airborne.

        -Ryder's skill set is not bound to any single profile but can pull from all of them: combat, biotic or tech or all three.
        -Ryder -be it male or female has combat experience -though not of N7 vintage -has received informal N7 training from Alec Ryder.
            -Informal training that would obviously alert Ryder to movements of Shepard and combined with S.A.M. allow Ryder to counter some of them.
        -Ryder is not bound to a single profile like Shepard and is able to upgrade any ability -given enough skill points -no matter the profile.
        -S.A.M. can enhance abilities, senses, ect. So confrontation could be quicker to evade or attack.
        -Ryder is not bound to the ground like Shepard and is younger with a jet pack -giving increased agility and mobility versus Shepard stuck on the ground.


So when going at it one on one the skill index of who is better is canceled out by both sides strengths being somewhat identical
While whatever few weaknesses offset each other:

Man, this whole section is really dying. No surprise. But Shepard.

Shep has this pretty easy to me however the jetpack if timed right could be a game changer however you would only get one shot at making that count.

Honestly, I always thought Tela Vasir was kinda trash as an opponent (though bosses in ME2 were never great to begin with). Her vanguard abilities were basically evasion only. She should have been charging us headfirst and using a shotgun up close and personal, not some dinky Vindicator. If not for the great OST of that DLC, her boss battle would have sucked entirely. At least Ryder would be pulling death from above charges and nova combos, and apparently can launch cobra rpg's from the omni-tool on a regular basis, while someone decided Shep wasn't allowed to use a Cain anymore.
