Shepard, the whole conversation around the game has been how Ryder is less seasoned, not a soldier, inexperienced etc. So I'll have to go with the seasoned, military trained, N7, Spectre.

Shepard is a cyborg zombie who's been fightin' dudes for ... A while.

On the other hand, Ryder's melees are all WAY cooler.

For the winner, my money's on Vanguard charges, the TV viewing public, and the power of friendship. I mean, it's probably the undead one with plastic skin and the best training 5evah technically.

Firstly, Garrus sucks at up-close-and-personal. Take Tali.

Secondly, counterpoint -- Ryder can punch an architect to death if you time it right.

Shepard can only charge-kill a harvester.
