I mean common people... Alpha of all the alphas vs. a guy who's best at funny facial expressions. Now if we were talking of Ryder vs. Conrad Verner or Rana Thanoptis, then yeah, I'd say he has a decent chance at it.  |

Man, Shepard can't even punch the Rannoch Reaper. The best thing vanguard Shepard can punch is a harvester. Very depressing... Though I suppose one could argue Shepard is just too sensible to punch huge things. Ryder, in the meantime, can charge (assuming you took vanguard profile and honestly why wouldn't you) right up the Harvester's laser eye... and punch it. YEAH.Has Ryder punched a reaper? Facts. -narrows eyes, hastily draws a mustache and monocle on face- A thresher maw knows instinctively to stay as far way from Shepard as possible. He hides underground if Shepard so much as looks at it for too long for fear of death. A Thresher would destroy Ryder with its vibrations alone. If Shepard was in Andromeda the architect wouldn't even stay to fight. It would "architect" it's own grave (taking quote from Ivanka Trump) and lie in it.

I'm disappointed that they didn't give Shepard hand to hand combat skills, just sloppy wide punches and that's it. I mean he/she's Special Forces soldier and he/she should by highly skilled of using their body as a weapon as just as deadly as firing a gun.
