Well, no one has bothered to make a thread for the Battlefield series (BF1942, 1943, Vietnam, BF2, BFBadCompany 1 & 2, BF3, BF4, BF1), so i'll start it with; no cod players allowed how has been your experience through the series? which one do you like most?
Share your photos, Nickname, plataform, credit cards information. Battlefield V:Thoughts? (don't get this thread locked, ya rascals)

I have played a lot of Battlefield 1 as of late, enjoying the game immensely, more than previous titles.
I think the theme is what gets me, I love the semi-historical context and the unintentional futility of death in the game being so close to the real World War I.

BF bad company is where it's at for me. Lately however BF4 and BF1 are the most recent games I've actually played multiplayer wise and I can absolutely say I don't like 32v32. Team shot up the arse all day.and I can't fly planes 🙃
I'm curious how Star Wars battlefront 2 will pan out (not sure if Star Wars can go in here, it is the same developer after all and the same concept but in Star Wars theme).

I was never a major Battlefield fan. Not because I thought the series was bad; it simply just did not interest me. Then Battlefield 1 was released -- which takes places around a time period I find interesting. In fact, Battlefield 1 being World War 1 themed is the main reason why I took notice of it. Were it another generic modern FPS, I probably would have ignored it, and forgotten about it.

I skipped BF1, due to the whole mandatory Season Pass for a multiplayer game that I wouldn't play that much. I know that the DLC stuff is not really mandatory, but I like the new content and new maps, it's just that it gets stupidly expensive, and where I'm living games are stupidly expensive as they are without some DLC whoring around.
Anyways, I played BF2 back in the day, then played a small amount of BF3, apparently 150 hours or so. And BF4 I went full YOLO and bought base game plus all DLC, played quite e decent amount, about 500 hours or so, but by the time of the last DLC I was loosing interest already. That's why I skipped BF1. I think I'm gonna try out Battlefront 2 since there wont be paid DLC, and then probably whichever new BF comes out. Also, I liked BF4 quite a lot more than BF3, although BF4 introduced so many gadgets and BS like the AC 130 and whatnot, it was such a clusterfuck in so many maps... fun wasn't even allowed at times.
I wonder which theme they're gonna pick for the new BF. Definitely not WW2. A proper and newer Vietnam game could be cool, but I dunno if they'll go for it, BC2 had a Vietnam expansion. Another pseudo modern conflict? doubt it, we got like 4 games in a row about that (ever since Bad Company). What other conflict or timeline could it be?

Have been playing since BF2 and have every game in the series since except Modern Combat on the old PS2/Xbox
I'm tempted to say BF2 was the best out of nostalgia, but I know that a lot of things in that game were utterly broken compared to modern ones (going 200-0 by bombing the enemy carrier/airfield in a jet over and over was stupid easy, Sniper was a flat out useless class, hackers were common, most maps heavily favoured one side or another etc.)
BF1 is the most fun I've had with a recent title. I love the semi historical context, unique gunplay (everything has a niche instead of boring "Assault Rifle is best at everything" gameplay often found in modern shooters), and unique vehicles. Have been playing the hell out of the recent Russian front/Civil War expansion, especially on Operations.

Dunno. Played three back in the day. Not too much. Knife is the most kills weapon for me.
Once, 12 knife kills a round. By the end of it, they were fucking SCARED of my 1337 Ninja skills. To the point that one of them finally caught me trying to knife him, and emptied an entire mag in my corpse.
Oh, those were the days of knifing people, one by one... *evil nostalgic smile*
Been playing whatever became of PR lately, actually.

A new BF with a 1960-80 as context, would be neat. The classic cliche of NATO vs Warsaw pact, but with BF mechanics? that would be awesome.

Could be cool, AK 47s and M16s (not that the modern BFs don't have them, but they rely heavily on more "modern" guns and those 2 tend to be neglected). F-15s and Migs, T-72s and the early A1 variant of the Abrams. I liked how they tossed China into the fray with BF4, it spices things up a little bit and you have a great excuse to introduce some new weapons and vehicles. It's cool to have an extra faction for the sake of diversity.

I enjoyed the futuristic one a lot. Played a bit BF Vietnam and the first one. I kinda liked BF 1, especially the Venetian Alps, such beautiful maps and trying to give an impression of the alpine environment was done quite well. I liked the operations most.
Eventually I got fed up with the fucking random directx crashes and no fix or comment in sight, so I said "Fuck them!" and they can go where the sun don't shine. Really annoyed me.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 is what brought me to multiplayer gaming, and I've really liked the series ever since. Unfortunately, none of my friends play it, so I'm limited to pugging my way to mediocrity here, and so mostly play other games (like MEAMP) where I can actually play with friends.
My highest score ever was probably on some BF4 cheater server on the infamous Metro map. After wondering why I got shot in the back so often, I found out that the cheating team had a rather irregular spawn point behind our lines. So I picked a silenced machine gun with a bipod, found a cozy place to hide and went to work. I think I killed everyone on the other team at least once before they noticed that something was wrong...

I would not mind more World War I content from Battlefield. In fact, I would love for Dice to add more factions and maps to Battlefield 1. A United States DLC with a lot of maps would be nice; the Battle of Cantigny, Battle of Château-Thierry, Battle of Belleau Wood, and the Battle of St. Mihiel would be great for the U.S. faction.
Also, if Dice is brainstorming for a new Battlefield game, I would not mind the Korean War as long as it is historical based.

BF4 multiplayer is my go-to option for when I'm in the mood for old-fashioned running around, shooting things, and blowing stuff up. I mostly play as the engineer and support classes - I'm not really that good, so I'm most effective when I can strategically mine the paths and waterways, hit enemies with mortars, and use anti-vehicle weapons from a distance. (Though blowing up a helicopter at point-blank range with an RPG the other day was fun.) And I like using this little airborne drone that destroys enemy equipment when playing as recon, though I can't usually get too many points with it.
It's fun for what it is, though some of the standard "trash talk" and "OMG you're a hacker!" chatter can get kind of annoying.

I just wanna say that I hate EA with the fire of a thousand suns. I hate them more than poison. I hate them so much that my son tried to give me Battlefront FOR FREE, and after a few minutes I deleted it. Fuck EA and fuck their price-gouging douche-baggery. FUCK them and their loot crates, fuck them and their deception. I hope every employee of that company dies of syphilis & then goes to hell

The most recent Battlefield game I played was 4. I got the Platinum Trophy for both the PS3 and PS4 versions. I didn't like single-player mode that much, but the multiplayer was fun.

War was rather quick (lasted a couple of months), not much to it in terms of equipment used. The only armor used was a single APC by us. It was very "ship focused" not sure how that would work. And on a scale of the most important wars ever fought, I doubt this one gets a high score. Plus the political state currently between both countries is "still bad blood" and it seems like it's going to continue like that for quite some time if not ever, because reasons. Doubt DICE will even bother spending resources in what potentially could end up being a cesspool. Outside that, LevelCap mentioned in a video he got some sources telling him about a release date in october and that the game "feels different" which sounds like PR bullshit, they always say that. He still believes maybe the game will be about WWII since the transition would be easier from BF1. I guess is just good old E3 waiting time.

loved the ww2 era for fps with my fav being mohaa but had soft spot foor bf1942 default an more modded, loved the ticket system an still miss it.
Me an all the m8's sort of guys who all buy BF an everything to do with it an with that said i believe BF1 was the shortest one any of us played, we all loved the sp campaign but when it came to mp wee went wee seen an wee left an went back to bf4 which we all felt was the better game an more fun.
Hoping next installment a BC one but i'll settle for revisiting ww2, if same combat as bf1 an swbf cant see us sticking around very long again
