[Day/Night Game] Trouble on the Citadel - round "LE Part 2: Why Cerberus Is Right For You"

Dragon That targeting thingy must be in ME2 because the right button opens fire rather than targets and on the tank its the more powerful gun which I use on those giant worms. The machine gun is like throwing peanuts at it, hardly effective. I ran away from that first worm, but found another on a different planet.

I'm starting to get used to the tank. I find fighting in it a bit easier than hand to hand combat, but I'm dying A LOT on normal mode. Also, the game doesn't favour overusing quick save button, it sometimes freezes and the game crashes due to me saving after smallest fights because I always kick the bucket two minutes later.

The Inq dragon fights are more difficult and longer lasting than killing those giant worms, but I don't attack the worms via hand to hand combat, I shoot them with a tank and when they dive I run like my tank depends on it. Those worms guard deposits and artifacts shown on the map. I've never had one spawn on me randomly yet.

In terms of relationships, I have recruited Garrus and Wrex at the Citadel before figuring out how to get off the station. These two seems to like ruthless replies and I'm getting along with them. But, Ashley and Kaidan are not happy because Shepard tells everyone to can it and follow the orders. Kaidan is kinda cute and I wouldn't mind romancing him, but I'm pretty sure Shepard leaving the noob's bones on the planet has made him angry and not wanting to talk. I think picking abrupt replies chops down any possible romance with him and I don't feel like altering my character's personality. So, maybe I'll make a war hero next game and romance Kaidan then.

I don't believe anyone else is romance available? Ashley is for guys. So far I find her to be the strongest and most useful companion in terms of combat. Pretty sure she and Kaidan and my Shepard make the strongest team. I try to guess which missions are harder to take them, but I've gathered a huge heap of quests while running around citadel and I'm kind of randomly moving from system to system to check if I can land anywhere. It's not very predictable which missions will be hard.

Lol. When I first arrived on the Citadel in ME1, I guess I wasn't paying attention to where I was, because I couldn't find the docking bay either when it came time to leave


I would think that as long as you take the flirt options that come up later, you can romance him as a renegade. Though, if you feel like it just doesn't fit your character, Liara is an option for any Shepard, or you could wait until ME2 to start a romance. Garrus will be available then, as well as a new human male character and a drell for femsheps.

I think Garrus is pretty much perfect, especially once you get to ME3. I'm doing Ashley's romance with a male Shepard right now.


By "spawning," I mean when they disappear back into the ground after shooting acid a few times. They come up again somewhere random in the battle area, and they kept spawning right underneath my Mako, which was pretty much instant death if I couldn't get away fast enough.

Yep. Happened to me with my paragon femshep, and now it's happening again with my renegade male, even though he hasn't been very nice to the person in question 

Ill never forget when Shepard suggested a threesome between Liara and Ashley/Kaidan. The delivery, the animation, everything. I also find it hilarious that after suggesting that, Liara is always the character that stays with you. Ashley/Kaidan were NOT having that.

  Yeah there's an infamous romance bug with the character in question. Even if you reject that person, it's bugged to where you're still in said romance. The only way to prevent this through a save editor in PC.  Or you can get into a love triangle and dump the character then, but those are the only two ways.

If you're not playing in a PC and didn't into another romance, you're just going to have to dump that character in the sequels. Pretty awkward imo.

Argh! I just finished Virmire and spoke to the council, and who comes to comfort me but HER! We almost kissed. (Thank goodness for Joker and his timing!) I've been rude to her. I told her flat out I wasn't interested. I've flirted with my actual intended romance. Hope it hasn't been screwed up 

Always choose the middle ground (if available) if there's no intention to romance the char and if you're playing nice.   

Edit: I fixed it!   I loaded a post-Feros save that had a conversation with that one available, which I skipped entirely this time, then replayed Virmire as fast as possible, and got the locker scene with the right person

My character is such a Grinch. Somehow she's managing not to romance anyone!

fylimar Of course they're desperate. Shepard is the sexiest Specter to strut the Galaxy. Only I seem to be capable of scowling them away.

Also, kindly allow me to dispense my sincere displeasure at a certain combat related occurrence.

AGHHHHHHHHHH!!! GURR! OMGWHATTHEGALAXYBBQ!

I died one million (or maybe about twenty times in a row) to some overgrown toaster that spits blue fireballs of doom. This battle has a looooong cut scene, which I cannot skip and waste SO much time re-watching it a hundred times over. Turned the difficulty down to easy and died anyway like eight more times. RUWR!

ME 1 combat is diiiiicifult. ;-;

I wish I have taken Kaidan and not Tali to this planet as he's stronger. btw CANNOT get off this planet either. I'm stuuuuck fighting it.
