Take it as a compliment; you were a really good spy in DA. Also there really seemed no need to defend yourself to Wrex like you did. Other people voting for Serza seemed willing to take the risk and not make excuses to try and deflect his wrath. Unless you were afraid they were innocent and might target you (like they did). If you were not a spy and thought they were innocent, then why vote for them? If you were a spy then you knew they were innocent and had good reason to worry. I think my instincts were good here. Over on DA we had a lot less to go on and everyone was pretty much shooting in the dark. P.S. You only made the comment hinting you were Varric after I had voted and I pretty much said I was avoiding jumping on a bandwagon.

Congrats Serza adonniel If I were a spy, wouldn't I try to claim a role, like Space Cowboy did? There are enough roles to do that It didn't help Space to claim a role. The desire in itself to claim or not claim a role will be perceived intuitively by other players as either fake or genuine. Right now there are four players with question marks on them for me luke, you, pela and obsidian. Providing I'm alive and they're alive the next morning one of you will be getting my vote because I will chose the person I am most uncertain about and then judge their behaviour after the vote as either suspicion or not. The votes are changeable, this is simply my attempt to engage a person in discussion to judge the level of suspicion they raise in me.

"Cowboy made a single note suggesting he might be Tali.
But at the same time he made very little effort further.
Wrex simply thought he's Tali who betrayed him, with a slight chance to hit a Cerberus agent," Shepard concluded what Wrex had told her in his cell in the C-Sec Academy.
(Also Wrex really loves pronouns come to think of it.)

I'm still waiting to hear back from a night role, which means the day cycle won't start until after I get home from work tomorrow. I think the next game needs to have some "villager" roles who are part of the hero team, but who don't have any special powers. Or, who only have special powers if a main role is eliminated. For example, there could be a "Glyph" role, who has nothing special to do unless Liara is eliminated, in which case he would be granted one (and only one) guaranteed use of her power, even if eliminated the next night. Or an evil clone role, whose only job is to impersonate other roles. Maybe the evil clone would have a separate win condition where if they manage to get the heros to vote off another hero while impersonating said hero, the clone wins the game. I'm also thinking of not telling the next Cerberus agents which roles are unclaimed, to make it a bit harder for them to figure out everyone else's identity. That's assuming you all want to keep playing, of course.

I'm really enjoying the game so I'd be up for another. These games can be tough to get a perfect balance. I agree villagers would probably help. Although I like a lot of these roles too.

I personally think those roles sound great! An evil clone/disguiser role sounds really fun to try out. It definitely wouldn't hurt to try out roles for the Cerberus crew (possibly a Maya Brooks/traitor role? Although the evil clone role sounds a lot more fun). Having a role like Glyph can probably help out the Normandy crew as well. I second luketrevelyan and say I would be up for another round as well.

I never did hear from that night role, so I'm going to go ahead and declare nighttime over. The remaining Cerberus agent sat huddled on a ledge above the Silversun Strip. After that close call with the krogan and the security footage, Agent wasn’t about to risk being seen at the scene of the crime again, even if the crew wouldn’t realize that Agent didn’t belong. Instead, Agent was stalking one of Shepard’s people from a distance. This witch absolutely had to go.
Agent pulled out the new indoctrination device -- actually an old prototype, but it was all that was available after Shepard confiscated the real one -- and powered it on. The witch was some distance ahead of Agent and below the ledge, looking around her like she thought she was being followed.
Well, she was being followed, but she couldn’t know that. Not really! Agent was far too stealthy to be detected from so far away, even by a target with so much...special experience.
At least, this was what Agent told Agent-self.
The device beeped angrily. The witch was out of range.
“Dammit,” Agent muttered. “Stupid Shepard and her stupid krogan.”
Agent crept closer along the ledge, carefully avoiding wads of gum and space-pigeon poop, and tried again.
The device chirped and the screen displayed a progress bar. The witch grabbed her head and gasped.
“Yes!” exclaimed Agent. The progress bar advanced, slowly but surely, and Agent squeed with glee.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Elsewhere on the strip, Garrus was peering through the scope on his rifle. He’d spotted a figure creeping along a ledge across the alley, probably up to no good, as creepers went. He had a concussive round ready to go, once the figure move just a liiiittle bit...to the left…
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The witch fell to her knees. Her lips were moving, and while Agent had no idea what she was saying, Agent also didn’t care. Agent scooted forward juuuuust a little bit in anticipation. The progress bar moved merrily along. Any minute now…
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Garrus’s mandibles flared in a grin. He pulled the trigger. The shot flew. A figure crumpled. He looked at it through his scope, and his jaw dropped. “Spirits…” he gasped, and set off running.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Agent nearly fell from the ledge when a concussive round hit nearby. Not aimed at Agent, but close. Too close.
“Shit! Shitshitshit!” Agent coaxed the indoctrination device along. The progress bar had stalled. The witch was climbing to her feet, head clutched in her hands, a look of determination on her face. Something was going very, very wrong.
Turian footsteps thundered toward Agent. People on the Strip below were starting to look around in curiosity at the commotion.
“Come ON!” Agent begged. The device blipped. Agent looked up to see the witch shake herself. She looked ferocious. And she was headed Agent’s way. “What the…?!”
The device shrieked. An error message displayed.
Error code 5cR3w-1t: Indoctrination failed. Device requires service and will shut down in 00:59...00:58...00:57…
“Dammit!” Agent snarled, shoving the device back into its case. Surveying the area quickly, Agent fled just before the turian came into view, but the turian did not give chase. Instead, he dropped down to the platform below and began to speak frantically.
Curious, but Agent didn’t have much of that particular emotion left, not with Reapers bouncing around in the brain. Agent shrugged, checked to make sure the device had shut down, and ran.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Garrus patted the figure’s cheek as she looked confusedly up at him. “Thought you were made of better quality materials than that,” he said with a nervous chuckle.
“I am constructed of the highest grade materials available, Officer Vakarian,” she replied. “Cerberus spared no expense with this mobile platform.”
“Of course,” said a dry voice behind him, “it’s Vakarian’s scope that’s lacking. Or is it his skill as a sharpshooter?”
Garrus opened his mouth to respond, when the damaged crew member suddenly fell back against the floor. “Uh...” He shook her. Nothing happened. “What the hell?? She was fine!”
“She wasn’t fine. You shot her.”
“I was shooting at...dammit! I knew the damned rifle needed calibrating.”
“Operating system failure,” said a thin mechanical voice. “Platform reboot required.”
The owner of the dry voice rolled her eyes. Garrus powered up his comms. “Shepard? You uh, better get down here. And bring…”
An ambulance?
Chakwas?
An entire team of medics?
“...tech support,” he decided.
“Shit, Garrus,” Shepard said over the comm. “What the hell did you do?”
The eliminated player is…
romice - EDI (shot by Garrus)
Daytime is declared.

Something's telling me we may have been left without an investigation last night.
So... after reading this entire story... I only have one question - Did Garrus miss or not, considering the turncoat or should we say turnplate windows operating unit would have become a pesky voting problem.
It's peculiar that with two powerful roles known the Cerberus went after romice. It seems the spies got the roles figured out since they judged that having extra voting power would be more helpful than eliminating powerful roles.
The question marks I have are Luke, Pela and Obsidian with high probability that one of them is Garrus.
I can't remember if any of them threatened or dropped any hints during the previous round to shoot.
I'm perplexed by Luke this round and I keep jumping from thinking he's Garrus, Diana or plain simple a spy.
Last round none of the three above were in voting danger, but Garrus shot into the blue, then this would make me think Luke since he dies early a lot and wouldn't have wanted to waste a shot. Then again someone else may have done so.
Diana because he seemed bent on getting Serza kicked out, but I think he sort of argued against it, thus probably not.
My third version would be that he's a spy. Last round when Space was trying to spin a legend about being Tali, he used this quote.
I've sort of wondered if the reason this day is dragging on so long is that Tali and Legion ended up voting together and we've been waiting for Tali to switch.
This could be a genuine inquiry that comes from being deceived by Space's claim. However, this could also reinforce the myth about having Tali in game. A spy would know that Serza's claim is genuine and would want to minimise the chance of Wrex taking Space with them.
This doesn't remove Pela or Obsidian from my top suspects list, but my mind is going in circles around Luke. So, I'll just vote him and see which role he claims.

I am more inclined to vote for Obsidian Gryphon as I don't recall any hints as to which character he is and genuine crew members present have either been eliminated or have been hinted at, assuming of course that they are genuine claims. If OG comes up with some hint of identification then I may move to another of my suspects.

OG was perfectly content to cause a tie between Serza and nvanfleet on the first day (with only Serza and nvanfleet left to vote). Obviously Serza ended up being good and nvanfleet hinted at a good role as well. A Cerberus agent wouldn't care which one got eliminated.
