How *unappealing* do you predict straight male romance options will be in DA4?

If I play a Bi male Inquisitor i'm always torn between Dorian and Iron Bull partly because of the same reason as you, voice.

I like Bull and Dorian's voice at times, and then I don't.

Sometimes Bull sounds good, but then other times he sounds weird. Freddie has this habit of dragging on words needlessly. It's almost like he's trying to give Bull some sort of accent on top of trying to sound extra masculine, but it just doesn't work and just makes him sound douchy. Dorian? I haven't had as much problem voice-wise. I like Dorian's accent, and his voice most of time, mostly with him I hate some of his cringeworthy dialogue like "i'm too pretty to die" or "care to inquisite me again", i'm just saying to myself stop Dorian please stop.

I often just go with Dorian not because i'm attracted but because it seems more authentic than with Bull. Plus he had a story important quest with Inquis. In the end my decision between Bull vs Dorian always end up as Muscles, Masculine and all around Alpha male vs BFF. A battle between physicality vs personality. Sigh, if only Cullen let us smash.

I'd bet Tallis. Bio has a history of taking a second whack at something which didn't go over well the first time.

I don't really like how cartooney his voice sounds like, he is so posh and glam, not to mention sarcastic and sassy, that all the emotions get lost on me. Like the Trespasser banter where he talks about Inquisitor possibly dying and being broken about it, it honestly just sounds like he is making a mockery of me and isn't taking the situation seriously at all. It's not a very masculine voice either, which doesn't help me when it comes to finding any sort of (sexual) attraction.

I agree on you with Bull, and I think dragging on words is definitely part of it. But, I have to say, when he is fighting dragons and really fired up in general, he sounds super freaking hot. And in general when he is serious, but those are rare, rare occasions. 

I didn't romance either because fuck that, my Inquisitor deserves better. Cullen and/or Blackwall would have definitely been better for me, and my large muscular Qunari. There's something about a masculine man like Blackwall stealing a kiss from big hunky qunari dude..

If Tallis is a main Companion, I can see the writers making her older and wiser, but still recognizably Tallis. Since Bull could become Tal-Vashoth, I would expect that Tallis stays in the Qun no matter what. Rather, her Personal Quest could revolve around reaffirming her True Believer status, or choosing to help reform it from within. Bonus points if we also get a Tal-Vashoth Saarebas kossith who calls her out on all the Qunari's treatment of mages that Hawke couldn't . This could also work for Gatt, but he didn't strike me as dynamic as Tallis.

Well, could you at least edit the title to make it more... pg rating? It's fucking disgusting and sticks out like a sore thumb on here.

I see the title as a trophy victory. It's like the asshole jock who peaked in high school who is now fat, bald and impotent, and his nerdy kids have already moved on to bigger and better things .  

This reminds me of the similar thread back on the old forums where someone posted comparing straight male PCs having a choice between Cassandra and Josephine with straight female PCs being given a choice between Loghain Mac Tir and Rendorn Howe. I will never stop being proud that the thread instantly degenerated into people discussing how much of a DILF Loghain is, whether the taint makes you hotter and swapping muffin recipes.

Loghain was a dream daddy for sure.


Probably is only ten years older than me anyhow, considering how young people would've gotten the family under way in the middle ages.
