"I think I really pissed that one off. Maybe because I shot him in the face" This is only quotable in terms of how monumentally stupid of a line it is. Seriously if I had a gun with two bullets and sat in a room with Saren, The Illusive Man and Liam, I would shoot Liam twice. Fuck that guy. Liam is awesome.

Not to pour alcohol into an open wound, but this is unfortunately the quote that will be most associated with MEA. Good thing they fixed it.

It’s still in the game. Fixing it would require a complete rewrite of the Addison conversation.
She’s inconsiderate and aggressive. She uses bizarre phrases like, “My face is tired,” and “... pathfound something.” She corrects Ryder’s poor grammar, but then makes 4 or 5 grammatical errors in her own speech. That conversation, complete with the terrible animations, did a huge amount of damage in terms of setting a weird, off-putting mood. That conversation is the worst I’ve experienced in a game like this. I often skip the dialogue in order to spare myself the awkward discomfort of it.
It didn’t help that it came on the heels of zingers from Cora like, “It feels like centuries since we last spoke,” and “He was an N7. They don’t mess around.” Throw in the horrible scanner introduction scene; Liam’s several turds; some weird stuff from Fisher; and there’s a ton of crap-writing concentrated in the first hour of the game. It does improve from there, but by then some of the audience has been lost. I totally understand why someone would check-out in disgust over the cumulative crappiness of those lines.

I thought this was the list of favorite quotes. And it’s not like the trilogy had cringe worthy moments.

^At work so I cannot really respond to all the points I’d like. But the military/scientific requirement I get since you’d want a balance of the two, but you can bet if I were in charge the eggheads would receive serious training with firearms and basic squad tactics. Would have military personnel be able to assist with sample collection. Cora aside from her tendency to idolize her role models was the only one from the original group that had her sh*t together and the one I felt I could trust. As much as Cora's asari worship annoyed me, I agree that she at least knew what the fuck she was doing.

I just thought of a funny moment, but it’s long and I can’t quote it directly (lame, I know).
Liam trolls Cora, offering to help her fix the colors of her armor to better match the movie from which she got the style. She gets defensive, saying “I didn’t design my armor to match a dropship rescue scene”. Liam points out that he never named the scene, and says the offer stands.
I usually hear that one post-game, driving around doing gear-testing.

Wow, PT#17 and I just heard new banter on Eos.
Vetra: “Those were some slick moves in that last fight.”
Liam: “Don’t tell anyway, but I learned them from a vid: Edifice Rex (Wrex?).”
Vetra: “Oh, yeah. That’s a classic; but I prefer the Batavian version.”
Liam: “Hardcore!”
Edit: I also just caught onto something in the Cain Fawkes conversation (Civil Engineer of Prodromos). If I ask about his reason for coming to Andromeda, he tells me about the failed colony Viridus (sp?). The “difference” comes in when he does or doesn’t thank me for asking. Does he only throw in the extra enthusiasm for Sara? He has an obvious crush on Kim Connor, and his buddy is pushing him to say something in a datapad message. Maybe this dude is just thirsty for love? 😆 He hasn’t thanked my last two Scotts for their interest in his story.

I don't take the 2 of them out much, and when I do I usually get Liam carping at Vetra for bringing Sid to Andromeda.

I’ve never heard it before in 17 PTs. I always open the game with these two, since Vetra gives great background on prior Eos efforts. Liam is hilarious on Eos, and Cora is the conflicted XO in the early game, so I leave her shipboard on the first visit. Usually, these two are obnoxiously bickering at this stage. I’m assuming it triggered out of order. It makes me wonder how many dozens of interactions I’ve never heard.

For the first time I decided to go after the archon early before I saved any of the arks, so saving the slarian ark was my first ark with the big Tann speech as you enter.
When asked to comment as the big hero, uncharacteristically I chose the heart icon.
Ryder "As director Tann said the dream lives if we all pull together this can work"
Tann "Exactly what I would have said, in fact I think I did."
God, Tann is awesome.

Whatever Ark you save first gets the same speech I think, if you go to Tanns office after the Salarian ark they try to shut your mission down. Kind of irritates me as I want to go to Tann for a different mission but don't want to start the meridian stuff yet.
