i see many games listed here but very few if any are scifi... i want spaceships, and aliens and experiencing the wonders of intergalactic travel and life... all the stuff that made me an avid scifi reader as a teenager : Dune, Foundation series, Rendez-vous with Rama .
space magic? .. bring it on !

Have you played the Rama adventure game based on Rama II? It's what got me to read the books. Didn't like the trilogy as much as the original (not enough aliens or Ramans in them) but still good stuff. And the game was fun too.

no, i haven't played it, but ...1998 ! i only read the original book .. to me i liked the idea that this cylinder with its secrets would move away from the solar system forever and that's it.

You could try out Warframe (or Fashionframe, as it's fanbase lovingly calls it). Just make sure to have patience for the grind for parts and such, maybe get some friends to help out. It's a bit light on story focus.

Is it bad I'm on my like 35th playthur of MEA? I know it gets alot of crap but I love the game to death. It's one of the few games I can replay and not be bored. FFXIV is the other one. Heck I'm a huge sonic fan and neither of those I can play more than twice without being bored. :c

I think I have about the same amount of playthroughs for ME2 and a few more for ME3. I tend not to buy many games per year and enjoy the ones I do get. I've only made three completions of Andromeda. The last was sometime back in June or July of 2017. I started playing Hearts of Iron 4 before Andromeda and went back to it after the second time through Andromeda, did the first two back to back. I recently wanted to play Mass Effect again and I went for ME2 and imported that Shepard into ME3. I just enjoy those games more than Andromeda. Since I recently finished ME3 I've been debating whether or not to do another Andromeda run. Still not sure.

I've done 8 playthroughs so far and have another planned for when I finish my current trilogy run. Should be finished ME1 tonight as I've only really got the final missoin to go now after that I can start ME2

Keeping my fingers crossed (auch they're hurting already)!

But they have been streamlining the games too much. i remember when you could climb walls, levitate and shit in their open worlds. There is nothing wrong in finding a back door into a dungeon ganking the boss one room over and leaving, if that's your play style go for it. But they took that out only one way ito the dungeon, one path to take and a door to exit that is one way.

Keeping my fingers crossed (auch they're hurting already)! I've never liked a Bethesda game, sadly. I think they're butt ugly, and that they are primarily clunky, FP affairs. I heard Starfield described as "Fallout tropes in space". I have no idea whether that's accurate, but it ensured that I have zero expectations for that game. (The person saying meant it as a positive.) If it's not typical Bethesda fare, it could be a great, unanticipated surprise for me. I doubt there will ever be another Mass Effect. The combination of BioWare characters and ever evolving, third-person action was near perfection. EDIT: Just saw the revealed info. Sad. It's typical Bethesda stuff. 😖 The good news is that many people will enjoy it. Not official info. Apparently BS threads and vids are still popular amongst adults. Who knew? That's what for get for posting so quickly. Still keeping expectations at nil.

Well yeah I've enjoyed some of them a lot, especially FO:NV, but it was mainly made by Obsidian with Bethesda toolset =) One can even compare FO4 to NV and yes, they have been streamlining way too much.

I've never liked a Bethesda game, sadly. I think they're butt ugly, and that they are primarily clunky, FP affairs. The dystopian worlds of Fallout can certainly be hard to look at. Skyrim has some lovely scenery. I agree on the combat controls. They're primitive at best. There are several reasons why I enjoy Bethesda games; combat is not among them. x1000 - and ME3MP was (is?) an amazingly popular, lightning-in-a-bottle success story. But the ending drew so much overwrought ire, it's no surprise that devs are unwilling to ever tackle something like that again. All these years later, some people still haven't built themselves a bridge to get over it. Also, OT: I just completed a Sara PT of MEA and have started a new Scott PT.

However I have never stopped playing through boredom.

I'm in the midst of PT #16. Five out of the previous 15 got irretrievably bugged on Voeld. I guess the fact that I continue playing it with such a high rate of FAIL speaks to how much I enjoy playing it. I like the characters, visuals and sound; and I love the gameplay. I enjoy tackling the gameplay with an entirely different primary character build each time (I absolutely love the organic, classless character-building system). It's not just a mechanical thing for me, either. My character's chosen approach to combat shapes how I view that character.
So, I'm chugging away and still enjoying it. I just really love so many things about ME. No other games bring to the table so many things that I enjoy. I'll wrap up this PT, and then? Maybe I'll move on to another game; or maybe I'll start another PT. It all depends whether anything else can lure me away from ME.

Doing my third play through at the moment. The first two were when the game first released, and then I took a break for other games for a long while. Just came back, in kind of a bored gaming rut right now.
I missed it though.

Yeah halfway through ME3 atm just about to go to Tuchanka to help cure the Genophage but once I'm through ME3 I'll be starting my 9th playthrough a female Sentinel on MEA. Already looking forward to shooting some Kett again.

I'm playing it because it's fun even though I'm supposed to be finishing up ME3. Yeah I'm finishing up ME3 first mostly because I went through the headache of getting my Readiness rating up for my latest run so it kind of makes sense for me to finish up that before it drops back down. Especially as the readiness rating doesn't matter to MEA so I can happily ignore it after ME3.

I've never upped my readiness at all and I don't have a problem accessing any of those endings.

Especially as the readiness rating doesn't matter to MEA so I can happily ignore it after ME3. Readiness doesn't matter in ME3, either, if you're playing most of the content. I've never upped my readiness at all and I don't have a problem accessing any of those endings. Yeah I know it doesn't but it does change some of Hackett's comments though and that's what I wanted I mostly decided to do it in case I decided to skip some of it as well. So I at least still could have all the endings available if I did decide to skip some. But then I'm doing it through N7 HQ so I don't have to do it through MP so it's relatively easy
