Who's still doing playthroughs of ME:Andromeda?

Doing another playthrough with default Scott. I'm loving Tom Taylorson.

I honestly haven't touched the game since my first playthrough upon its release... and I struggled to finish. I disliked a lot of things about the game, but every once in a while have a desire to play it. But time and passion dissipate before I can sit down to give it another go. I actually sat down once to start Andromeda and ended up playing Mass Effect 3 instead.

I haven't played since the day patch 1.08 was released.

Last week, on this forum, I read posts from folks to try the game with all patches. Since I still had the game, and a save, I loaded the save. The save was after the game was over, but I noticed one thing that I don't recall ever seeing before. I talked with Suvi. When the camera focused on her face, she became possessed Suvi with her eyes rolling up into her head.

After moving around the tempest, I decided the next day I would try another playthrough. That didn't happen since I bought Rise of the Tomb Raider that same day.   

At this point, I don't see myself playing MEA again.

Yeah, I usually hate animated avatar, but this one is very funny XD

On topic, no. I'd rather play the classic trilogy.

I'm on my second playthrough. My first one was in March-May, and I started again in the autumn and I've been taking my time trying to absorb all the details I missed during the first run. I have also installed over 10 different mods - making Kadara port doors faster, SAM no longer bugging me about temperature changes, a few modified asari face textures so they don't look like clones, reducing cooldown so I don't have to make an effort at combat because it's the least interesting thing for me... and it's made the 2nd playthrough so much more enjoyable.

But now that I got the map for Meridian, the game has really lost momentum somehow and I started playing other games, now I've really gotten into Prey and I will definitely finish it before going back to Andromeda. But maybe it can work better that way, not trying to play too much at a time, so it doesn't get so boring? There was an article on how the game works better this way, not feeling any hurry, you're just the janitor in a new galaxy for whom all missions are equally important in the long run. I've tried to think of it that way.

It's also annoying how I was really confused by some missions on my 1st playthrough and blamed myself for not paying attention but no, it's just poor mission design and pacing. Sigh. I still manage to stumble onto missions and areas that I was supposed to find after receiving a mission so I'm doing a lot of things backwards. Like that other site on Eos, when I finally went there after activating the vault etc. the dialogue was still as though we didn't know anything about vaults and remnant yet.

So, Yes. Gonna. Many times.

with andromeda... i'm in the middle/middle-late stage of 3 or so play-throughs, and i'm kind of on a rotation of switching between playing fallout 4, skyrim, skyrimSE, and andromeda, with a few stints of POE & tyranny mixed in for good measure.

I haven't played recently but once the modding tools get more advanced I'm intending on modding it.

I tried doing a 2nd playthrough of Andromeda after all the patches, but 40 minutes into it I was seized by a feeling of depression at the thought of sitting through another heartbreaking 100 hours, so I gave up. I'm going to get my 360 out of storage and replay the OT.

I couldn't even force myself through one, much less any more. I got to the Architect on Voeld (or whatever that ice planet is) and quit.

Heck I uninstalled the game over the weekend to make room on the hard drive.
