I often play MEA concurrently with the MET. Earlier today I was running around the wilds of Havarl and this evening I am stopping a collector attack on Horizon. I do the same. Currently I just woke up from cryo stasis on the Hyperion, while also trying to save Archangel in Omega.

I noticed something yesterday: when you receive the quest to save the Moshae, the journal only talks about meeting with the Moshae, not saving her, which could be confusing for a first-time player who was told to save the Moshae and then the journal talks about meeting her. I wonder if she was initially not captive and they forgot to change that line. Also, from Ryder's pov, why would she go to Havarl first when she REALLY seems to wants to get inside that vault and Efvra was quite clear Moshae is needed for that? Unless it's not clearly stated that they know her to be on Voeld and not Havarl, I'm not sure now.

My personal take is that the whole mission on Havarl is because the Angaran Resistance is not sure 100% where the Moshae is they know she is on of the two but not sure which and also Jaal states that helping out on Havarl will get Ryder on Efvra's good side and that getting him and the Resistance will help the Andromeda Initiative succeed. Again that is how I interpreted it.
I am planning a new PT for ME:A to start on January 10th 2022 because it's my birthday unless I get bogged down in playing Assassin's Creed: Origins, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, and Assassin's Creed: Valhalla.

Yeah, that's what I figured but I got confused, trying to remember what exactly Efvra said. The journal could have been written better, it's a bit difficult to navigate as it is and doesn't always give enough info on additional tasks that you got 100 hours ago and can't remember from who and where. Also, the parts where Ryder says "don't fear, I'm here to help!" are a bit cringe given the angaran experiences with the Kett. Why would they trust some stranger insisting they have come for nothing else but to help out of the goodness of their heart. Some of Shepard's lines were like this too - in reality she had a mission objective but she didn't mind helping people along the way, but she wouldn't say that, she said she came to place x specifically to help out some random people. Yeah, right.

Yeah m ypersonal take is that the Angara aren't suer they trust you yet so they give you a couple of small/minor tasks to do to prove to them that you can be trusted to handle something like this and you will help and work with them if you can. Let's not forget that by the time the AI arrives in Andromeda that the Angara and Kett have been at war with each other for nearly a century and the Kett were the first alien species the Angara met. It's why the yhand Jaal those tasks as he can be their eyes and ears whlie trying t ohelp you foste ran air of cooperation between your 2 groups. Jaal even mentions this more than once himself. Yeah planning on doing another MEA run myself soon after I've finished DAI.

Will do another one after completing the Legendary Edition (courtesy of EA Play)
May be my final one, though, since I'm going for the platinum trophy. Plus, the replayability is kinda low comparing to the amazing work mods have done on the Original Trilogy.

I have the desire to do at least one more, but I have several other games to play before I get around to another replay of Andromeda. Right now I am working on my achievement and final run of Dragon Age: Inquisition and its taken me months to get where I am. After that I am probably going to scrap all the profiles I have for Dragon Age and come up with a canon one.

One of my biggest enemies in the game is the combination of the crafting and pinging systems, that feels like a gigantic waste of time. Things like the horse mechanics that don't feel right, or the jumping and sliding controls. I just finished Wicked Eyes & Wicked Hearts in the Winter Palace there was a halla statue on rafters in the elven area and I fell off several time because it felt like they didn't really bother testing that kind of control in the game. I even got to the point I quit and came back later because I had spent enough time there to make a dent in my court approval. That is one thing I give Andromeda is I never felt like I was fighting the controls to complete my objectives.

Yeah I think the whole power poin system Biowaer used in the game was a bit of a mistake tbh sounds a lot like that shard in the dragon area which you quiet literally have to jump up the tiniest staircase to get to. That's a bit annoying as well. Thankfully Andromeda doesn' thave anything like that. The most annoying thing about Andromeda is hte running out of the vaults like you rass is on fire once you activate them. Just gone through that again just now as I've just reactivated Eos's vault.

Controls and controllability are top notch in MEA and Anthem, so I expect a lot from next DA in series. Not that it was too bad in DAI but sometimes the jumping tricks were just too much. Also the ping mechanic should have been, IMHO, left for some specific things where it suits, not for generic chests etc.

Not a huge fan of the running away in the vaults either, but the controls mostly make it doable. The worst is Kadara where I just take the hit at one point and jump into the acid and lose all my shields and some health before I can jump to safety. Still much easier than going around the pool using lots of jumping from pillar to pillar.

I agree tha tit's doable it's moer you do hav et obe prett yquick and being quick on the buttons when you have a disability like mine is not easy. I can do it though.

The problem I had was when they were trying to do platforming style movement and the controls felt they weren't designed for those aspects. Thankfully it was a handful of areas in the game, but that is the kind of thing I just remember for it becomes frustrating. I remember in The Exalted March a few destroyed buildings where you needed to get to the roof to loot a chest or sack. I just walked away from them for I would jump the narrow ledge only to be forced off by geometry.

I tjus tfeels especiall yonce you get into the second half of the game that it drags on a bit needlessly thanks to the power point system and a syou sa ygetting t osome of those items like the temple shards. Wha tmakes i tworse is you rcompanions as the yknock you off course making it even harder. That can sometimes be a problem in Andromeda a swell but not as bad there given most of the ledges there are bigger
