Still no PC version? It’s a PlayStation exclusive game. I have nothing against consoles -except they have games I would like to play... though.... If Mass Effect had never been ported to PC in 2008 I would never had been able to have played it. Just as I have never played Halo 2 and up. Even IF I had a console -I still could not play any console game on a console. Why? I would need some other controller input than the standard M shaped controller. When I have tried to use a standard controller I grip it so tight that either my hands swell up like an allergic sting from a scorpion or even harder if it vibrates -so much so that I actually broke the casing of the last one my cousin used. This is the only possible solution I can find: Also QD did have one game that made it to PC -so I leave hope always for this game, HR, BTS, ect. Another is also starting to see possibility -rudimentary as it is: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/65eqll/the_ps3_emulator_rpcs3_can_now_play_heavy_rain/ I will stay of the opinion though that since all games are designed on computers that computers are still best: I done. Going back to waiting.

Demo released today. (first mission of the game, previously shown in the E3 2016 trailer) Much is said about the lack of choice and consequence in games; I enjoyed assessing the situation with real decisions to make and the clock ticking. And I saved the hostage, just sadly not myself... I like the look of this, I'm interested. The clock ticking stressed me out a bit so I hope it's only a component of this character's play. I ended up "wasting too much time" but did still save the hostage by convincing him to trust me and let her go w/ the info I gathered in my wasting of time; then they shot him but I lived.

I had the same outcome. I didn't like how the camera moved. At all. I didn't like how everything is timed. I understood why it was. But I don't like it. Will probably skip this game. Thanks for helping out with how to find the demo SofaJockey

I guess the timers are to force a reaction, to force a choice. Not something everyone likes, but I understand why it's there. The 'Timeline' should allow people to have other (multiple) goes if it doesn't work out as planned.

I enjoyed the story and consequences a lot, but the camera when moving around was incredibly bad. I don't get how that got past the alpha stage.

The 'Timeline' should allow people to have other (multiple) goes if it doesn't work out as planned. I get why it's there and it makes sense for the situation I just don't personally like timed missions and things. When I replay games I often avoid side quests that have timers even though I never really have a problem completing them. It just makes me irrationally nervous for some reason, I dunno.

Well, I just finished it.
I actually think this probably the best story David Cage has come out with. I was a fan of Beyond: Two Souls, though part of the appeal of that game was that I could play as an asshole ghost.

HeimdallOne reviewer said it took about ten hours. About right? Were there any decisions that actually felt difficult to make, or was the morality pretty black and white?

Is it in Chronological order?
Because holy hell, some moments in Beyond were made extra creepy by the randomization.
Also please tell us that David Kaje cut back on the sexual assaults.

I pretty much watched the whole game on Twitch, spoilers or not, who cares if it's a PS exclusive and I don't have one. With that out of the way, I'd say this game is awesome. Perhaps not the most innovative plot ever, but the execution and the choices are so well done this game is worth at least a 9.5/10 imo.

Heimdall One reviewer said it took about ten hours. About right? Were there any decisions that actually felt difficult to make, or was the morality pretty black and white? Sounds about right to me. It might have taken me a little longer actually. There are definitely some difficult decision where it isn’t clear what the right answer is. There are also a lot of decisions that I expect make cosmetic differences but won’t change much in the story, they’re still a bit neat though. The characters are great too. I greatly enjoyed all the androids and Connor’s cop partner Hank is a standout among the humans. As a bit of a non-sequitor, Kara’s face is always really distracting to me because every time I see it all I can think about is how much she reminds me of Jennifer Lawrence.

The characters are great too. I greatly enjoyed all the androids and Connor’s cop partner Hank is a standout among the humans. Hank is one of the best characters in the game. Even though Hank is almost the polar opposite of Alec Ryder (aside from being equal surly at times), Clancy Brown's performance in this game made me wish we'd had more of him in Andromeda. As a bit of a non-sequitor, Kara’s face is always really distracting to me because every time I see it all I can think about is how much she reminds me of Jennifer Lawrence. I thought the same, although she's actually modelled after her VA, Valorie Curry.Don’t worry, 100% chronological On a related note, this is one of my only gripes about the game.
The timeframe seems way too compressed, in order for everything to be happening simultaneously. Kara's storyline made sense to play out over about a week, but Markus' felt like it should have taken place over a few months. The game made him go from a Careworker to a full-on Revolutionary, all in the span of about 48 hours.
Maybe AI's ability to process time differently might explain this rapid story progression and character development, but going from a guy who picks up paint supplies, to parachuting off government buildings, all in less time than it may have taken for that paint to get delivered, still seems a little contrived.

I didn't know who's the actress until someone mentioned it in Twitch chat. Since I didn't watch any of her movies, etc, she made no distracting impact on me.

I absolutely LOVE this game The choices actually makes a difference and there’s actually different scenes and outcomes depending on how you choose and play, I know cause I tried making a few changes and got VERY different scenes and endings. I also love the story. Finally a game developer who’s made everything perfect, graphics, details and story, I mean I haven’t even encountered a single bug in the game.

Important questions, where are the awkward sex scenes and does the deadbeat dad rape (or try to rape) the servant android?
Not interested enough to play the game to find out if my suspicions are correct.

Ah ok I guess there must have been somebody on the design team this time who was able to convince David Cage that including that scene would be a bad idea. The deadbeat dad seems like a pretty shallow depiction of the worst person in the world who you are supposed to hate so I thought it would probably also be implied that he uses the Kara model as a sex robot as well.
