Should Bioware attract these types of gamers?

Why can't people who look like this be Bioware fans and have characters that are as attractive as them?

It doesn't break my game one way or the other, but I'd prefer pretty characters in the game.  I suspect most people would.  I'd rather not walk past the mutant white dude with the fro in the nexus with the giant potato head.

Sure, I like attractive characters, but if the cost of that is loot crates and the destruction of great writing, I'll go for ugly.

Did you know that it's been statistically proven that 99.9% of those who find Melissa McCarthy pretty also own a white stick and pair of sunglasses? Internet facts are interesting.

I for one am very curious how the future will unfold in gaming. Due to growth in adulthood gaming has entered the big bucks status and therefore the crony capitalist status as well. Games full of loot boxes and correct(ed) social memes are becoming the norm. Since those "correct social memes" are today in flux typical RPG makers like Bioware are in peril and so are their writers but that is solely my opinion.

Ubisoft follows the Pax Americana CDPR much less. So, as a European, I am very interested to see what CDPR's future games will look like. I believe the Asians are more on the fence and in between. So, yes it will be interesting to see what Sony and Nintendo will do.

Then there is also the interesting niche of Indie games where Larian Studios and Obsidian Entertainment definitely carved a nice piece into the market on a successful way to stay level. The Chinese market seems to be still dominated by Western made games particularly MOBA games but what if they enter the market with their own homemade games.

Whatever ones opinion interesting times ahead.
