The ultimate poll. Choose your top 20 philosophers/thinkers among these 50!
I preferred not to include mere novelists, politicians, activists, scientists and religious figures in general (well those Chinese and Indian figures are philosophical enough!). And the limit is 50 options so I had to cut and sacrifice more than 30 thinkers from the poll. SAD.
Don't worry if you selected the wrong option, you can deselect it and choose another and this poll won't be closed anytime soon.
List of those who had to be sacrificed on an Aztecan altar (for such important clowns on the list, also for the greater good) and I had no other choice!  actually for avoiding resentment and backlash not posted here

Yes, I couldn't like the OP without Bertrand Russell, and was left missing a couplw other important minds - and myself forgot Spinoza as well. What the actual fuck is Ayn Rand doing in this poll? She was an idealist moron, and one of my least favorite thinkers I can think of for her complete lack of rigor. In frustration, I chose Hegel and Descartes. If you are going to include Nietzsche, you should also include Kierkegaard as you did Heideger. Nevertheless, good post. |
