Companions Lineup for Veilguard

Praying for a conventionally attractive basic male human fighter, sassy and sexy elf rogue, angry dwarf barbarian type, and tsundere female mage tbh.

Bring back the cliches. I miss em.

Well you have my permission to make the fighter at least bi this time around.

I'd just like any elf lady that my heterosexual male elf can romance. To date, when playing a male elf who wants to romance an elf, I've either had to play him as gay/bi (DAO) or opt for no romance at all (DAI). Bonus points if we get a wedding at some point as well.  (That applies to any of my male characters).    Meanwhile, my female PC would appreciate an elf romance who doesn't walk out after sex (actual or Fade) and leave her hanging for 2 years wondering if he is going to return.    Thought Fenris was bad enough but at least he came round eventually and hadn't been working on his plan to destroy the world in the interim.    However, I was less than pleased with how their relationship was dealt with in DAI and how his attitude towards Hawke was presented in the comic series.     As for Solas........ I deserve something better.

Just give me a nice female to romance with my planned dashing male warrior and I don't care about the rest.

I like to see 6 companions. 2 magicians, 2 rogues, 2 warriors. I like to have a companion who is a lackey of Solas to lead the main character away from what the elf wants to accomplish while another companion will do his/her best to keep the main character focused on the task at hand. If Andraste is in the game as a companion, I would like to have the Maker be a companion.

Ignoring the first part because yikes, not taking that bait lol, Jaal was always meant to be bisexual, he was another of the many bi characters that got his gay content cut (typical biowhurrr cant wait to find out the next one in Dreadwolf), he didnt even have a rejection scene with Scott unlike other romances, they really restored Jaal how he was originally meant to be. And that gave mlm players another option in the squad. That said continue please, my job here is done about this matter lol

Hopefully they will reveal all the companions or a good chunk of them next month, with a bit a luck we dont have to wait til july or august... 

I love how the characters' sexuality is so vital that it is stated alongside their background and race.

Where the hell is humanity going.

I don't know about pivotal but it would be nice to have a genuine male elf hero, perhaps a type similar to Garahel, so a city elf background, or even better an ancient elf who opposes Solas because he believes what he is attempting is wrong. I would say like Felassan, except I rapidly went off him when he manipulated the Dalish Keeper into helping Celene and Briala and then abandoned them to be torn apart by a demon when he could have prevented it by telling Michael not to take the action he did to free Imshael. Plus I didn't appreciate PW making that Dalish clan out to be such obnoxious idiots. Up to now my PC has had to be the elf hero the game never gives us. Shartan once filled that role but then World of Thedas 2 cast doubt upon even his existence (thank you writers).

I would also really appreciate having a female elf for my male elf to romance. This is not being racist but just practical. If female elves keep opting for non elf partners and/or are lesbian, the elven race is going to die out. So it would make a nice change to have a female elf romance that my male elf PC is not excluded from.

The problem is that I have been so burned by my elf romances up to now, I am going to be very cautious whether they are male or female. Please can I have an elf romance where they don't go cold on me after sex. Zevran was at least willing to admit his problem reasonably quickly, allowing us to reconcile. With Fenris it took two years but if I hung in there and didn't even so much as flirt with anyone else, we did get back together eventually. Then there was Solas. Breaks up, promises to tell me why after Cory is defeated, doesn't keep that promise and leaves me dangling for 2 years, then tells me he is going to destroy the world, in which it is implied I will die. Don't worry though, I'll never forget you. Great!

So, please Bioware, give me an uncomplicated elf romance just for once. Is that too much to ask?
