Like I said the final mission in ME3 alone could fill an encyclopedia with the amount of things wrong with it. Why not post that encyclopedia of things wrong with the last mission in this thread?

I did and its a weapon of Reaper design but not a Reaper. Thannix missles are similar to the Thannix cannon introduced in ME2. Similar technology. Also it wad a unique circumstance on Earth. I get that you are a hardcore ME fan but you are ignoring what I am saying and simply excusing bad writing. The point I was making was that thanix missles were a deus ex machina device just like the entire plot of ME3. Why were they never mentioned or used before this and just show up at the end like it's nothing? And why does the hades cannon look exactly like a reaper but lack all of the protection of one when it would obviously need it more? They were mentioned and seen before and as I said it's a weapon not an actual Reaper. And I'm not excusing bad writing as there are some examples of that in the trilogy (almost anything Rana said) but I don't see this as one of them.

And why does the hades cannon look exactly like a reaper Because they needed a model but had already blown most of the budget? This is more likely to be a project management problem than a writing problem per se. (How big a problem it is depends on the player; if nobody in the universe is calling something a destroyer, then I'm not going to think it's one, but YMMV.) Edit: The Cain sequence isn't present in the early leaked script. There's a reference to a Reaper "gun" which Shepard has to destroy, though.

And I'm not excusing bad writing as there are some examples of that in the trilogy (almost anything Rana said) but I don't see this as one of them. Well, really the distinction doesn’t really matter in the end. I’d say that it was more a matter of convenience for the writing so that we’d have some sort of objective on the field, though honestly they could’ve done without the giant reaper-like walker tank with the giant cannon on its back, and instead gone with smaller fortified troops that were doing ground to air assaults. It being a reaper or not shouldn’t affect whether or not the reapers constructed the thing to be as resilient as any other mobile construct in their swarm. The real question is why did the entirety of Hammer not have Cains all over the place. Those suckers in the buildings firing feebly at Destroyers could’ve been shooting them in their goddamn giant red eyeballs. Shepard walked around casually with a Cain on her back in ME2, after all.

I wouldn't say Bioware is suffering much, or needs to step up their game. Keep in mind, Andromeda was being developed by their Montreal division, a smaller division that primarily focused on DLC and multiplayer components. Even though they had a lot of money thrown in, it was almost asking a high school choir to perform an entire Mozart opera, they were given way more than they can handle.

That's what I mean by stepping up their game - making smart decisions. While we are on topic of smart decisions - I don't want next ME game being described as "softcore porn" again, just go back to short and sweet romance scenes or don't do them at all.

Who actually described it that way? I don't think anybody specifically said that, but I remember in either Gameinformer or another interview with the developers about the romances that they were taking inspiration from The Witcher 3's more "explicit" showcasing of the sex. It's not something I find necessary. Personally, when I consider visually showing romance, you sometimes don't need a sex scene or even a kiss to really convince people that these characters are in love.
