That looks pretty bad. Except for Linda Hamilton. Can we just drop everything but her, and have her I don't know, hunt down the last of Cyberdine's backups or something? Maybe get Arnold as Dietrich Rossbach (the human template for the T-800 in the T2 novels) helping her? A picture of the new film isn't supposed to make me root for Skynet.
I, for one, welcome our new robot overlords.

Why can't they just get Arnold and James to shove Ed Furlong into rehab and get the REAL John Connor back? Hell, cast Norman Reedus, they look alike these days. Good to see Linda back but this "future is female" crap has got to go. She's was one of the OG believable heroines in film. That's like casting Nathan Jones in a lead role and marketing him as the first bodybuilder to be a leading man in an action movie.

I have to see a trailer before I judge but having James, Linda and Arnold is enough to have me on board.

I'm going to wait until we learn what the actual storyline is.
I didn't like T3, but didn't hate hate Terminator: Salvation or Genisys (though those movies had some real problems. But nothing really recaptured the magic of the first two movies. So...not really excited either way.

Marcus from Salvation was the only genuinely creative idea they've had since T2. And Genesys glossed over two movie ideas light-years better than the turd they actually put out- Sarah Connor growing up with Pops (assuming they avoided just remaking T2), and Pops works construction for 30 years in the time jump.

Always hated how they made it seem that Terminators were all Arnold clones in the sequels tbh.

I've only ever seen the original Terminator and T2 but from what I recall all the T-800 series Terminators were Arnold clones. Are you saying that in the later sequels they made all the Terminators, regardless of series Arnold clones? If that's the case...

Who do you consider the first successful modern female action hero? Weaver as Ripley? I wouldn't claim to have a definitive answer, but Ripley and a few others predate T2. Sigourney Weaver is a legitimite candidate, as the earlier examples would probably be considered "problematic" (for example, Jane Fonda as Barbarella or Raquel Welch in a fur bikini.) Personally, I feel that Geena Davis doesn't get enough credit. Sure, Cutthroat island sucked, but The Long Kiss Goodnight was really well made, and seriously overlooked by film buffs. It also predated the late nineties explosion of female action heroes, and I'm quite convinced both films went a long way to opening the door for Sarah Michelle Gellar and Lucy Lawless. that bird that played Wilma Deering in Buck Rodgers, there were a few in other none Hollywood productions as well that predated the alien franchise, although Ripley is up there as the most realistic portrayal, the problem is most movies went with the old trope of the damsel in distress since it was easier to sell.... one of the biggest problems though is that not many non Hollywood movies fell solely into one category, the majority of them were more light-hearted than gritty action and thus get brushed off as comedy or parody rather than acknowledged as action movies hell some even got relegated to "kids movies" just because they were pg rated (and there were plenty of movies there that had female leads and were pretty action packed, mostly becasue kids wont watch boring crap nor do they want blood and gore) but Hollywood was always slow to catch up and act like there the only ones who count despite being a tiny fraction of the total industry

I cant say I remember much about the other 3 moves though they were just that junk...

No reason there can't be multiple 101 units. They do literally come off an assembly line. And "model" does imply a line of them, otherwise they'd just be T800/1 or something. The one in T3 was explicitly chosen for his model number because Skynet knew Connor would have an emotional reaction to the face. Would be nice to see a new model though.
