Ryder would just end up getting spaced and wind up working for "the bad guys" (who are totally charming, if somewhat incompetent) because that's awesome and edgy. Working for the bad guys? What about the good guys? Will they make no effort to confirm Ryder's death? Will one of the good guys, one who claims to be a friend, fail to inform the other good guys that the bad guys have Ryder's body? Will that one guy, the one claiming to be a friend, have Ryder's armor on display like its a prize/trophy? Will there be that one guy, the one who says I believe you and trust you, say its up to you to find a way to stop the bigger bad guys? Will there be an interrupt to hit that character upside the head for turning stupid when learning Ryder is working with the bad guys to stop the other bad guys from taking people? How different would the scene play out if the creeper good guy, the one claiming to be your friend, told the other good guys that your body was in the hands of the bad guys? Either way, I see the bad guys not wasting the time and resources to bringing Ryder back. They'll just throw her/his body in a garbage bag and then toss it into the nearest dumpster. They rather have someone with the I care attitude instead of a Little Duck who has the I don't care attitude. |

There are plenty of emotions and music as well. You'll hear the latter more if you turn down the effects volume. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. |

I didn't realize you could read the minds of everyone that played the game and know how they felt about the game. Even around here there are plenty of people that enjoyed what Andromeda offered. Frankly I don't understand how you didn't get the feelings of the original trilogy since it has close to the same story beats as Mass Effect 1 and the open world type of content was just as boring to do on more then one character. |

I love MEA. BioWare knew they couldn't outdo the MET and so went in another direction entirely.

I enjoyed Andromeda and I don't think we will ever capture 2010 again. Its like people who want a band late in their career to release an album that brings back the sounds and feelings of an early album.
The gaming landscape has changed. I would say even the units sold for the OT would be considered disappointing by today's standards.
I can see it now: join online with friends! Pick your planet! You've selected... Eos! Bitchin'! Build your base! Defend it from other players! Be big goddamn heroes!
Get Mass Effect Kontrol Freek thumbsticks! Guaranteed to increase k/d ratio by 20 percent!
And don't forget your Mass effect Monster energy drink, tastes like Krogan piss aww yeah!

The Reapers are too big to be topped. Why do the reapers have to be topped? Depends on the story that is told. Did they know that? If so, that's a weakness on their part for thinking that way. Always have positive thoughts. Having negative waves can lead to bad things Unfortunaltely the direction they took ended up with them forgetting to take that right turn at Albuquerque, as Bugs Bunny would say. |

Personally, I would love a sequel to Andromeda with Ryder to follow up on what the first game built on. Barring that I honestly think a prequel game of some kind would be interesting whether it was playing as Anderson during his prime, First Contact War, Krogan Rebellions, Rachni War, etc.
