Thank you! The card is based on the Star (as if the big one and the wave patterns weren't a giveaway. ) Since it's a card about hope, inspiraton, faith and renewal, it really fits Fjal' story as the Inquisitor. Even the reversed card fits: lack of faith, despair and discouragement have struck him hard many times. But the nerd keeps going!

You should definitely read it! And the game is good too - a tactical RPG with an emphasis on tactical. Like, really.

Here's a few screenshots I took during the first Beta (a new Beta was released a few days ago, but I have yet to restart my playthrough, so don't worry if things look a bit unpolished and there are 'dummy'.) With, well, you guess it, plenty of dwarves.

You can't bring everyone, alas. Where I stopped, you could have up to four characters...and if one died, 't'was game over (and they hadn't added the potion mechanisms yet).

The dialogues are good, right from the books. There is also a narrator - it's a bit weird at first but you get used to it pretty quickly. And I would say they're actually baldur's gate-like style.

My new dwarf that I just started in POE. He would fit in perfectly with the Orlesians with that hat. He's also my first "regular" dwarf.

Yes!! Cespar should always be a dwarf in every game that offers a playable dwarf pc, except WOW. Someone stole my name in that game .  

You should definitely go back and play White March, especially if you love dwarves, since it will dig deeper into dwarves' culture, really the mountain dwarves. I have a mountain dwarf and boreal dwarf right now. The picture is of my cipher boreal dwarf, because I love the Cipher's lore and skills so much lol. It's really weird playing a "mage" dwarf, but I love the Cipher class so much. My only completed play through was a cipher death Godlike dwarf, but I wanted a "real" dwarf play through 

The list of RPG's I've played is reasonably small, but I usually end up playing humans. Boring as it is, I like playing the 'medieval knight' type characters the most, and the cultures that such characters are part of. I think I've seen Quest for Camelot too many times when I was a child.   

That said, my first Inquisitor was a Cadash, and she's my favourite out of all of them. I chose her for roleplaying reasons, but really ended up loving Dragon Age dwarves and their lore in the process of playing her. So I guess I should deviate from the human thing more often. I'm open for recommendations of a few RPG's that feature dwarves.   

Still, in case the Inquisitor returns in DA4, it'll be difficult choosing whether to play her or my Solas-mancing elf first... I'm scared that the conclusion of the Solas arc doesn't get to be influenced by choices in the game and that it would spoil the ending of the romance if I played my Cadash first.
