Assassins Creed Odyssey

Hey Dragon another couple of things if you haven't figured them out for yourself yet, the Arrow Racks you can loot have resources in them as well as arrows. Holdig down "X" when you call the horse will make Kass auto-mount the horse and the war supply crates are lootable before you burn them. When you stand still and Ikaros lands on your arm if you press "E" he will feed or Kass will pat him. 

Awesome! Kassandra did pet him on her own, but I like that I can direct her to do it, too. I haven't needed to burn any crates yet, but I will keep that in mind for when I do.

I didn't play much today, but Kassandra did steal obsidian from the cyclops and killed almost everyone in the compound, except for one guy kneeling in the courtyard inside who never gave me an assassinate prompt. I let him live. I guess I was supposed to, despite him having a level 4 label. I also tried to fight that level 5 mercenary that's been hunting me, which was a huge mistake I was only one level below him, but my gear was still level 1 and 2, and I really wasn't doing any damage. I see a blacksmith -- where I assume I go to upgrade my gear -- right in the village where the mercenary likes to hang out, so I guess I will try to sneak by him. I'd like a better bow, at least. I stole a better spear from the cyclops' guards.

I think that mercenary fight left a very sour taste for me during my first hours of the game for you really need to be level 5 and with how the mercenary system worked it was difficult to get to level 5 without them being nearby all the time.  Its much easier later in the game to fight mercenaries that are a higher level because you will have combat experience, gear, and skills to overcome the level difference.  Better gear might help a little, I think I had a level 5 weapon and everything else was below five when I fought them.  It was over 200 game hours so its hard to recall exactly what happened with me.

It would be nice if Talos was locked behind something to make sure a level 2 new player wasn't being hunted to frustration.  Even if the requirement was that you needed to reach level 5 first before he spawned.

An update for you all. I got tired of the freezing my game was doing so I uninstalled my nVidia drivers and did a clean install of the ones from the end of June. The majority of freezing went away the only time my game froze for a short time was just after starting the game and I did a quick turn so my guess is those assets weren't loaded yet. I was then able to do my daily and finish my two weekly quests without any additional freezing.

Just puttered around for a bit.




Just stumbled across this Elite Lvl 99 Lion chilling out on the side of the road. It took so long for it to react to my presence, I thought it was a friendly. A Sparta Kick later though and it was a friendly.

I don't have that horsey!!!!!! 

I have encountered that random Lion but damned if I remember where. Have also encountered a L99 bear running amok in a village and a wolf. The weirdest thing is when you come across some Leader just sitting or wandering along a road by themselves. 

I've been playing ACOD. I didn't notice any stutter. *touch wood* I don't want to get one by talking about it. 

It's Nvidia 1080 ti and I'm not in the habit of updating graphic drivers the moment there's a new one. If the games I play are running well, I do not see the point of jumping the gun. Don't rock the boat.   It's not recommended to keep gpu drivers updated when everything is working fine. 

He never raises the question, so I am sure he doesn't.

That's usually because you killed all his friends, robbed his treasury and burned down his supplies. When you (or the game) lower the region power enough, the Leader is an easy picking somewhere on a lonely road.
