Oooooh, so many new passives, soooo many..... I need them all, every single one... At first I didn't notice they are separated in 3 tabs and was sad there wasn't more Fire damage. But then, oh, boy! Had to put a single point in so many of them just to get those sweet extra things. And you can reset them separately from the main skills. I am going to be building!
I can't see any change to the Abilities screen when I look for the mastery thing. What am I not seeing, where are the three tabs you talk about. Also an unrelated question, I have only one non-sage cultist to find, he in the Delian League and finding him depends on a quest called "Ä-Musing Life" which apparently follows on from a mani quest "An Actors life for me" that you get from someone called Aristophanes in Perikles house. I have no markers for these quests is there something else that triggers the quest?

dazk , did you have the secret meeting with Sokrates and Aristophanes after breaking out of prison? Aristophanes will give you An Actors Life For Me, the NPC you met in that quest will give you A Musing Tale.

You have to continue with the main story; join Brasidas in his battle against Athens. Kass will fight Deimos in which she was captured by the Athenians and imprisoned in Athens. In the dialogue with Deimos at the prison, if you want the good ending, you must convince him the cult is using him. If he replied; You do not control me (or something like that) to a cultist who spoke with him, you have succeeded.

I went to look up the triggers when the guide said the main story will bring certain cultists to light so I didn't delay it very long.

It should be under the ability points counter. To the far right of your ability screen.

Thanks eventually found it either old man syndrome or it just blended in too much.

There there. *pats in comfort* At least you got it. I'm seeing more pathing glitches now. It's like the patches change the numbers off a bit. Mobs would sometimes bounced between two points while finding cover or spawned stuck under / in between stairs. I've a bounty huntress who was stuck in the latter and I couldn't loot her. I head shot this guy. He fell off the tower and was caught like this. So Kass was swimming in the sea after diving a sunken wreck. I port her to a sync point and she appeared like this.

100% burning rate engraving... I know it's not optimal, but...slapping an extra 10-12 seconds burning duration and just watch it all burn down!!! Just hit an enemy to set him on fire and walk away.
Or fire a single Explosive arrow in a Leader and his guards and watch them all burn. If it's a Ghost arrow, then you know how all those spontaneous human combustion myths started 😈
Edit: I talk alot about my fire build and the burning mayhem Alexios leaves behind. I think I might have a problem. Anyone know where to find the Pyromaniacs Anonymous branch in Ancient Greece?

LOL that's funny as is the Kass picture. So I spoke about being one bit/hit by a wolf twice the other day then one shot by a merc. yesterday and at the time being almost full health so it should have been impossible. The thing all three situations had in common was that my bounty level had jumped from nothing to level 3 or 4 in one hit. Not sure if that has something to do with it but maybe the bounty is causing a damage upgrade for enemies or an armour/health downgrade for Kassandra???

LOL Hey did the patch fix the poison/fire engraving issue? Definitely fixed. Doing lovely 27k normal and 70k crits with my fire sword's light attack. The 100 % burning rate gives crazy fast DoT ticks too that crit for 30k. If I set you on fire, it's bye bye The 100 % less adrenaline loss with Shadow of Nyx looks crazy too. Basically infinite stealth. I am so going to play around with it at some point.

Ok so need some help again, my last low level cultist is Pallas the Silencer and I have to fight with the Athenians on Achaia's battleground but I can't get Achaia's status low enough to trigger the battle, have done everything on the map I can see. Anyone know where the leader is located or is this another cultist I have to do other missions for.

Anyone know where the leader is located or is this another cultist I have to do other missions for. The leader can usually be found at a fort or the leader house. At times, he can be found at temples, warehouse or market. Often, a faded leader icon can be seen on the map. It will be highlighted once Ikaros 'scan' him. I just did Achaia and he's at the Olouros Fort.

Kill any soldier in your path, in any camp in the region, they all lower the region strength. Burn all supplies everywhere, burn the silos. The Leader icon can sometimes be hidden under other icons, just look around.

Sooooo I started. As Alexios. And I'm impressed so far. Didn't get too far into it but. The good: So far this game just oozes personality and character. Alexios is a proper little wise ass and Markos is quite cool but again its just...everything about this game. The game is also gorgeous. Graphically and the animations look spot on. The bad: The combat is going to take a looooooot to get used to. I am not sure I like that the attack button is a one press one attack deal and I can't hold it down like with DA I. I mean with the dodge and the rolls and the counter attacks much like with Witcher 3 I think it makes a lot of sense why you don't want to have you press it down, but not sure I like it. Speaking of Witcher 3 though I was more then amused in my first few fights I kept on hitting 'square' and 'triangle' instinctively even though its probably been a year since I've played Wild Hunt. Now that I am thinking about it I think the problem is going to be that its a one trick pony since the attack button seems to MOSTLY be one button whereas Witcher varied it up...and DA I you could hold it down. But if I have to press that button all the time it could turn into that button mash fest from DA 2. I suppose I'll get used to it and maybe the abilities will spice it up (or even more hopefully my play style will make it so my fights are short and brutal). And that was a much longer rant then I anticipated... Anyways for my build what I wanna do is focus on Hunter abilities every time I level up at least mosstly unless I am all caught up on them and then any ability points I find out in the world I will put into assassin ailities. That is after I get second wind and the sparta kick.

I'd seen so much of Kass and the voice acting is great but I think Alexio's voice acting is good too and really like playing as him. BTW, bears are just strolling through the city I'm not the greatest role player since I tend to always play as good a person as possible and never have been able to embrace a "bad" person PC. But in this game, I'm feeling like my PC is possible a homicidal maniac. I'm helping out those that I can, always leaning towards being kind but then I'm going around slaughtering all these other folks. I'm a thief, bandit, murderer, but I'll go kill other people for being bandits. I know I don't understand the war very well and understanding that might get me to feel like I have a "side" but for now, from what I can tell, I kill things to get my level up and to move the game forward. Help me out here please!

I know I don't understand the war very well and understanding that might get me to feel like I have a "side" but for now, from what I can tell, I kill things to get my level up and to move the game forward. Help me out here please! Some Mercenaries have pets like bears that walk after them everywhere. If the bear is not hostile to everything, then it's a pet.
The game is built around you becoming the best killing machine in Ancient Greece. You are a mercenary in the middle of a 30 years war. Everyone needs something killed. You provide. And turns out you are really good at it since you wield a godly artifact. As for your "side" it's mostly that you are on your own. You can help anyone you wish, but there really isn't any truly "good" or "bad" side in this war.
But if you decide, you can avoid most of the kills. First - you can sneak around and rob every chest without been seen. It's a bit hard at the start, but doable. Second - you have incapacitating abilities that don't lead to a kill - stealth knockdowns, paralyzing arrows, Sparta kick, fist combat. Of course sometimes quests do require killing, but I think that if you decide to be a pacifist, you probably can beat the game with 100 kills or less. But where is the fun in that? Sokrates kept telling me "killing doesn't solve anything". Kass just looks at her Uplay stats and says "I have 4854 reasons that prove you wrong". (currently at 10189 kills, 1824 of which are assassinations. Seems I do a lot of backstabbing).

That's my usual MO but it was just not working and I was rushing to get it done as well however turns out I wasn't looking far enough afield, the fort OG told me about I had discovered but not cleared. Man that fort is huge too, but as is my usual ritual everyone was killed except I always leave one guard standing to tell the tale.

That is after I get second wind and the sparta kick. colfoley did you play Origins? I found the combat in that far more complex and hated it. On PC I really don't find it that hard, the only thing for me is that once you reach a certain level you have 2 separate melee bars and I keep forgetting which one I have active and I hate having to use ~ to change between them. Also and for you too MarilynRobert just an FYI if you didn't realise already killing cultists gets you an Isu token that when you have enough you can upgrade your spear. You really want to do that.
